Abandoned Cart Flows Based On Cart Value?

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi all!

I’m trying to add a filter to my abandoned cart flows so that it only sends emails out if a cart value is over a specific amount.

The closest I can figure out is:

What someone has done (or not done) > Added to Cart Value > where Price equals ____

Is there a way to set that so the price is “greater than or equal to” a value? Or am I thinking about this wrong?

Thanks!

Hi @dmillerFC

Thank you for posting in the Community!

The easiest way for this to be built is by using the trigger split.

In the trigger split, you can use the following condition:

Value is greater than (The amount that you like to split upon).

Make sure, that the value is the right metafield on your API for the value of your cart. I have seen before, that an API have different metafields for the value of the cart.

It could be value, price, Price or $value.

You can see that in the metrics tab, click on the metric, that you would like to filter upon. Click on activity feed and activity details. Then you can see, how the value of the cart is populated on the event.

Hope that helps! :-)

Hey,

Great question! The fact that you’re optimizing your abandoned cart flow for high-value customers tells me you’re focused on ROI—and that’s exactly what you need to scale.

Here’s the good news: Klaviyo makes this super easy. Instead of setting “Price equals,” you’ll want to use conditions that specify “greater than or equal to.”

1. Go to your flow trigger filter.

2. Choose Added to Cart Value as the metric.

3. Under “Conditions,” select greater than or equal to and set your desired amount.

This way, your abandoned cart emails only go to the customers most likely to convert big! Implement this now, and watch your revenue per email skyrocket.

That is a nice question

To set a filter for your abandoned cart flows in Klaviyo based on cart value, you can follow these steps:

1. **Go to Flows**: Navigate to the flow you want to edit.
2. **Trigger Setup**: Ensure your trigger is set to "Added to Cart."
3. **Add Filter**:
   - Click on the trigger and select "Add a Filter."
   - Choose the condition based on "What someone has done."
4. **Set Condition**:
   - Instead of "Price equals," look for an option like "Price is greater than or equal to" (this may be labeled differently based on updates).
   - Input your desired amount.

If the exact condition isn't available, you may need to use a workaround by segmenting your audience based on cart value before they enter the flow.

Let me know if you need more help!
