Email Campaign "Still Sending" after 1 Hour

Hi, I set up an email campaign to send to 6,900 recipients, turned off smart sending, and email was supposed to be sent out at local time because most of my customers are local. It was scheduled for 8am and it’s 9:15am now, and it’s only been sent to 396 people and it says it’s “still sending”. There’s no chance that 6,500 people are in different time zone...what could be causing this? I want to trouble shoot so I can send out another campaign later this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

I wanted to add on to Victoria’s point above, and let you know that on the morning of February 7th, Klaviyo experienced an issue where campaigns were delayed across the site. This issue was fixed, and campaigns were then sent. This is the most likely reason for the delayed sends you mentioned above. If you’re still not seeing these emails as delivered, let us know!

Thanks for your question in the community and welcome!

This campaign looks like it was only sent to 346 people in total (100% delivered and 50 skipped profiles). 

Let’s troubleshoot what might have happened, can you check… 
Are the people in the main list definitely not suppressed or unsubscribed? 

and was the reputation AI turned on too? as this might have removed subscribers too. You can learn more about this here

Thank you for posting in the Community!

Just to give you an overview, because there is some possible scenarios.

One could be, that it’s due to the wrong timezone, or that it have to be send through the locale timezone of the recipient. I have ones experienced that myself, which was the case. 

The second scenario would be, that although you’ve turned off smart sending, recipients on suppression lists (unsubscribed, previously bounced, etc.) will not receive emails. Could that be the case, that they aren’t subscribed as they should?
