Hello!

We have the following issue:

There seams to be a time delay between the trigger of an event and the time of the send out. Between the two steps we have not added a time delay, yet we noticed that the delay is about 10 minutes. Our aim is to send the email straight after the user has made a specific action.

Could you please advice us on either how to resolve this or if this is the way the Klaviyo flows function.

Thank you in advance,

Konstantina

Hi @KonstantinaSatori,

Thanks for sharing this question with the community.

Typically, a delay in event-based flow sending is a result of the time it takes the integration to sync that event to Klaviyo, rather than the time it takes the email to dispatch within the flow. I recommend checking out our documentation: How Often Integrations Sync to give you a better idea of sync times for various integrations.

Every now and again, flow sending can be slightly delayed if Klaviyo is experiencing high-sending volume during the time the email is set to dispatch. While there’s nothing Klaviyo can do to expedite an email send, I hope this information provides more clarity for you.

Thanks for being a member of our community.
