When a customer clicks a LinkedIn Profile URL in an email, I need them to be directed directly to the LinkedIn Profile.

On any desktop application, my Klayvio email opens directly in LinkedIn.

On any iOS mobile device, my Klayvio email does not open directly in the LinkedIn app but in Safari.

Is there special HTML to make this open directly in the LinkedIn iOS app?

Hi there @christienlouviere

Yes, this is intended behavior for mobile regarding links and apps on a mobile device. Although the LinkedIn link is provided, a user will need to be logged in to their LinkedIn account already or have their app open. If either of these are not the case then the link is defaulted to open in Safari so that the user can log in.

It's tough to give a work-around for this because the issue is more user specific and how they have their browser default settings set. For more insight on this, I’d recommend checking out this article to gain further insight.  .
