Hi @superoelk , @Roland@Fliegenglas@FIRE-FOOD@flonomao what are you doing as a solution / as a work around? What can we do to surface our need for change to both klaviyo and t-online?We are stuck with manual labor. The team is repairing not performing.klaviyo says: “Get a dedicated IP or wait.”note: As a general baseline, you should send at least 50,000 emails per month at least twice per month (for 100,000 emails total) in order to warm up your IP.t-online postmaster says: “Send me klaviyos sender and I clear them.” Klavyio aims to be part of CSA, deliverbility expert @francis.baker says even though in his own words “T-Online is currently not listed as a member of CSA” and “We currently have no evidence, that it will assist with making inbox placement at T-Online easier.”I am happy for any helpful information or work around or anything towards solution.
I recently changed my hosting server and now all our klaviyo emails are going to spam. Even emails like welcome, abandon cart flows etc are ending up in spam when it previously didn’t used toOur open rates have dropped dramatically. Is there anything I need to do to fix this issue? Should I re-verify the domain and hosting on klaviyo?
Hello, we have big problems to send e-mails to our customers with t-online mail accounts. We follow all tipps and steps from Klaviyo like have a dedicated sending IP, warming IP etc. But our mails are still soft bouncing. We get in contact with the t-online support and the need the exact return messages to filter out the problem. So where can I get or see the log files from the bounced mails? Thank you in forward!
Hello,we recently decided to move from our old ESP to Klaviyo and unfortunately I’m experiencing some issues on the deliverability for our 2 German accounts. In particular we get are getting bounce rate between 4 and 8% due to the large amount of @t-online.de address we have in our lists which are all bounced. Is there some solution/best practice to avoid this problem and set those t-online.de email as “safe”?Thanks in advance for the helpAline
Anyone else seeing issues with gmail opens and/or deliverability? Open rates for our welcome email dropped drastically on gmail addresses around the end of January, but all other domains are the same. I’m thinking there might be deliverability problems, and I’ve had a few cases of people our organization getting the welcome email in their spam folder. We use the ksd1.klaviyomail.com, and I have seen a few of our IP addresses show on blacklists (though not major ones).
I just switched my sign up forms from Mailchimp to Klaviyo last week and I’ve already gotten a few sign ups.I guess I should have thought through this strategy before Black Friday but I happened to see something about it being a good idea to “Warm Up” your list when you switch where your emails are coming from.Do I have time to do that before Black Friday? Am I asking for trouble starting my very first campaigns as big BFCM promotions?I thought about sending my promotions via Mailchimp and ease into Klaviyo, but #1, I was hoping to skip another month of double paying for my newsletters - it’s not a super big deal, but would be nice. Plus, my promotions wouldn’t go to the new sign ups. I suppose I could manually add in Mailchimp.Appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thanks!
Adding Klaviyo’s CNAME and TXT record will not impact sending on other ESP (Email Service Provider) platforms as long as the subdomain created for Klaviyo is different from the other ESP’s sending subdomain. Klaviyo’s CNAME is mainly aimed towards Klaviyo to make use of the subdomain, so it would not interfere with any sending on other ESPs.
Depending on the type of bounces you are receiving, it is possible that a bounce can have a negative impact on your sender reputation. Hard bounces are permanent errors that often signify the sender is employing poor practices, such as list purchasing, bad list hygiene, or a bad opt-in funnel. As hard bounces are something that the sender can control, elevated hard bounces will affect the sender’s reputation. Meanwhile, soft bounces are caused by a temporary error (e.g., full inbox) that is out of the sender’s control. Thus, soft bounces are often forgiven and don’t strongly impact your reputation. I have throughly gone through setting up my Klaviyo account to the best of my knowledge and research. However, even after setting every timing right and keeping the automations set correct, most of my mails don’t fire. Some do at some odd hours in the day, but for some the mails don’t fire instantly. I have seen mails delivering around 11-19 hours past the trigger. I have 2 mails with disabled time delay, so that they fire immediately after the trigger is made, but sometimes they just don’t do. And that keeps me unsure of all my users getting the important info at the right time. Does anyone know of any such glitches or bugs with Klaviyo, going on currently, or what other possible reasons could it be for the above? Would appreciate any help!Thank you
Hi, my client came from Shopify and used Shopify Mail to send newsletter before moving to Klaviyo. Unfortunately no engagement data like open and click per subscribers were passed from Shopify Mail to Klaviyo during the migration. In fact, I don’t think those are available on Shopify Mail.In other words, we have no way to segment subscribers by engagement until we send a few campaigns on Klaviyo. In addition, we have messages that we need to send and can’t really wait a few weeks before sending campaigns. In this case, what we can do to warm the infrastructure the best we can? What’s your recommendations? Thanks!
I’m considering between Klaviyo shared hosting and dedicated domain hosting, so i want to ask that: What is the maximum email, recipents per day can i send using shared hosting email? is it’s delivery good? i know it cant be the best but what is the percentage of my first email getting into inbox? i’ve done some research but dont see any useful statistics.
Hello! Looking for help with a campaign email. I have previewed / sent tests to myself (living in the states) and my business partner (living in Canada). All of my links (header, image, and button link) brought me over to the proper linked site. When my business partner opened the previews/tests she could only tap through on the header link - the image and button links were broken with no response. Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or if you’d suggest any solution! thank you!
I’ve recently started working with a client. He want’s to scrape emails from instagram and other place from the internet and cold email for his shopify store. Is this legal?also I’m trying to tell him that it can seriously affect his deliverability as people will be reporting as spam.Would I be correct in saying this?
We just sent a campaign today and I am noticing a lot of bounces from email addresses ending in bellsouth.com - including, in at least one case, a person who successfully received a campaign that we sent on Tuesday. Is there something weird going on with Bellsouth? Is this happening to anyone else?
Hi Experts, Was their any updates made by Gmail for Privacy. I have just registered on Glockapps and they flagged our emails are going into spam on Gmail. based on the recommendations, i removed unwanted images and shorten the image size to balance 65/35 but the difference is not huge, it is still flagging spam. though the open rate for Gmail emails is 31%.Just wondering if there was any change happened in gmail privacy which is why it is happening? If so should i create a separate segment for gmail customers and start sending text based emails?
If I decided to halt sending for a period of time, do I need to re-warm my dedicated sending domain?F.A.Q.
If you halt sending for a period of time, it is recommended that you re-warm your dedicated sending domain before you go back to your normal sending cadence. Inbox providers like to see consistency (in both volume and engagement), and if they notice that a specific sender resumes sending after a while, they will potentially flag that sender as suspicious. Note that you don’t need to go through the whole warm up process again. Starting off with a 30 days engaged segment will work! For additional resources on how to warm up your sending domain, you can check out the Guide to Warming Your Sending Infrastructure article.
Hello all, i have a quick question. I recently started sending emails from the Preview Tab to be sure, it lands in the Inbox. But i discovered all mails from the preview tab go straight into the Spam while the mails in the flow itself go into the promotions tab. What could be the course?
Hi all, I switched from Mailchimp back in December. I thought it would be a perfect time to warm my list as December and January are usually slow months for me. The thing is, I first had a bad flare up of tendonitis and right after came down with the flu that turned into pneumonia and a hospital stay. So, I was not able to work on my business at all the past 8 weeks. I’m now back to work and things were so slow I really need to have a store sale to get some income coming in. I don’t have time to wait a month to warm up my list. What’s the worst that can happen if I just email my sale to my whole list? I suppose I can just send out sale notices to my most engaged audience? I’m not even sure how to do that. I’ll have to do some reading.Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated. I just really can’t wait a month to do a sale campaign.
We recently migrated from Mailchimp, did the warming up process and within that our open rates were high! Since they were performing fairly well, we sent out a few campaigns to our entire newsletter, and have been feeling frustrated and disappointed with the results. Within Mailchimp, our open rates were anywhere from 25% to 40%, and we were making on average ~$600 per email. But since migrating they’ve all been cut in half. Again, we did the warming up process, and everything was looking okay! Are we doing something wrong? Are we missing something?
