Editing & Updating Saved Blocks

It would be so amazing if there was an option to edit Saved Blocks which can then push and update to all templates/emails where the block is placed. I keep making small adjustments to my blocks and then have to painstakingly reapply them to every single template.  Is this a feature that could be implemented in the future, please?!

How to remind a subscriber (in a flow) of their dynamic coupon code?

This seems like it’s a simple thing, but for some reason I am blanking on how to set it up. Context:On shopify, I have a Welcome flow with a dynamic coupon (so that it can truly expire in X days). I present the coupon in the welcome flow (on the conditional logic branch that they have 0 purchases all time) using the standard syntax via Klaviyo docs. What I would like to do is on Day X-1, send a 24 hr reminder to people who still have not used the code (understand I may have to just brute force this by a logic filter of 0 purchases again) that their code is still good, but expires in 24 hours. My question is: how can I make sure that showing the code again is the same code as email one (day 0) and not a new code which starts the X days countdown all over again?Thanks for any insight! Mike

Shopify Refund and Order Cancelled templates

The way I see it, all of Klaviyo’s replacement templates for Shopify Notifications are on point, but the two for refunds and cancellations do a lesser job of mimicking the desired results of what shopify produces by default. Am I the only observer of this?

How Should I Approach Image-only vs Image/text Balanced Emails?

Hi all, we’ve just migrated into Klaviyo and are setting up our first emails to send. Klaviyo’s best practices are quite clear on not sending image-only emails but in having a balance of images - text & buttons for deliverability and accessibility. I get this, however, nearly every single marketing email I get from large brands are image-only. How are they getting away with that and can we?What are your experiences with image-only emails?Thanks for your feedback!

Coupon code with expiry date in email flow (WC)

Hi all! I’m trying to add either automatically generated unique 1. Coupon code with expiry time (24h for example) OR 2. Link (with coupon code with expiry time added) that takes directly to our e-store. Since all the emails are going out automatically within the abandoned cart flow, the codes should be with expiry times according when they are automatically sent out. I really hope that makes sense! I can’t generate the codes in Woocommerce, since  Klaviyo doesn't support the webhook and we could not set an expiration for coupons that are used in the Klaviyo email, it should be set manually.

Adding background image to a sectionTutorial

Background images are another new exciting feature of the new editor. You can drag and drop in a section and simply toggle on the background image button. Here, you can select an image that you want other blocks to pile on top of. It’s helpful to pick an image that doesn’t have words or one central focus - since content will be added on top of it. We suggest adding a ‘lifestyle’ shot to express the brand’s views/tone or mood. Once the image is added, you can drag/drop any blocks on top like a normal section. That can have several steps, where you select the amount, the delivery date and the option of who it goes to (all with their respective fields of name, recipient's name, recipient's email, and an optional field of a note). It should be clarified that a personalized email must be sent with all the data. Show Discounted Line Item Price? (Shopify Order Confirmation with Dynamic Table)

How do you display a discounted line item price in a dynamic table for Shopify order confirmations?I’ve followed this article’s instructions, but found that the line item price is displayed as the actual price of the item, so it doesn’t take into account if our sales agents discount an item. Our totals at the bottom of the confirmation are correct, but it’s confusing for customers when they don’t see the actual discounted line item price in the dynamic table.I’ve setup the data source for the row and have the following four columns. Is there a way to display the discounted price in the PRICE column? Why are my fonts changing once it's been delivered?

Hi there,What's the best way to set a font that shows up in all email providers? I’ve been using Century Gothic within my templates as it fits in well with my branding style, but it always reverts back to Arial when delivered to my subscribers. Is there another font I could use that’s still modern and in keeping with my brand, and still shows up the same upon delivery in most email clients?Here’s a screenshot of the current font I use and how it shows up in the Klaviyo preview. Thanks,Meeta

Thankfully there are some best practices you can follow and actions you can take in our new and classic editors to make sure you don’t run into them too often.New Editor Clipping:If you are experiencing clipping in the classic or new email editor, your template will have to become smaller. Some tips for making your template smaller in the new email editor are the following:Limit the use of multiple sections. Limit the use of background images in sections. "Full-width on mobile" in text box not deleting extra padding on mobile view

The text box component in the new editor has a “full width on mobile” option, but it doesn’t work as expected. When enabled, the text still displays 18px padding on left and right, making it look indented, instead of full width. I’ve reached out to support about this, thinking that it must be a bug, but they told me this is the intended behavior.So confusing. What would be the point of having a “full width on mobile” option that doesn’t make the text full width? Any thoughts?-oo

Do you guys recommend constructing emails on Klaviyo’s editor or designing on figma and then slicing and inserting into Klaviyo? I like that the figma alternative gives you more customization but would like to know how everyone else is using Klaviyo.

Add Hover Effect to Button in Email

Hi guys, I’m trying to add a hover effect to the buttons in my html email, but unfortunately klaviyo doesn’t allow it. I was trying to grab the buttons using the .button:hover css selector and add a hover effect that way but had no luck. Is there any solution out there? Adding a Table of Contents to Your EmailsTutorial

Do you send newsletter-style emails with lots of content? If so, adding a table of contents could make your message easier to navigate. A table of contents allows recipients to jump straight to the sections they’re interested in, rather than scrolling through your full message. To add a table of contents to your emails, follow these three steps: Create your table of contents using anchor links  Apply the anchors to your email content  Test your linksStep 1: Create your table of contentsIn the template editor, drag a text block into the top of your message. Add each section title to a new line. Once you’ve added the text, click Source to open up the source code for the block.
