Abandon Cart Issues

Hello everyone!  We are experiencing some loss of details in our Abandon Cart flow recently. Customers will lose certain products when they click our “Return To Cart” button, or details for their order will not come through after clicking the “Return To Cart” button either. We personalize our products, so we need our customers to be able to see the details they had entered into their cart previously.  We just started experiencing this a month ago, with no prior issues. It also is not happening to every customer, just one every so often. Any ideas what we might be doing wrong, or any errors in coding? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Can't re import a shopify notification template to Klaviyo which is exported from Klaviyo

Hi,Thanks for your help in advance.I was tring to update a shopify notification template, i make some design change (no dynamic code update), when i try re imporing it as custom html, it gives me some errors Error 1: We found the following error in your HTML. Could not parse the remainder: ': "%m/%d/%Y"' from 'date | date: "%m/%d/%Y"'Upload HTML FileError 2:  We found the following error in your HTML. Invalid template filter: 'product_img_url'Upload HTML File Those codes originally came from the mother tempalte that i exported from Klaviyo. Is it even possible to re import a shopify notification to klaviyo as html? If not, where are the correct variables to use instead of those? Why Klaviyo made it too complex to use? However, i was able to import that to shopify and got nice result, but i want to send it via Klaviyo, and not shopify. Thanks for your help in advance. Best Regards

Triple (!?) Opt-in with Magento?

Hi all, we’re testing the newsletter subscription with Magento, and we’ve come across a strange behavior:When we configured the Klaviyo extension to send the opt-in email from Klaviyo, but we also have the standard Magento opt-in confirmation email being sent, we come to this strange situation that a logged in customer has to first confirm subscription in the email from Magento, and only then Klaviyo will send it’s own confirmation email.When we disable the standard Magento opt-in, Magento will show the user as subscribed as soon as he/she saves the changes, not waiting for the Klaviyo email to arrive..This seems quite inconsistent.Is this the intended behavior or did we get something wrong?

How do I change from CMYK to RGB colors?

Hi, It seems as if the color preset used by default in Klaviyo is CMYK. My brand colors are primarily RGB, which means that our accent colors turn into different, duller colors in Klaviyo. I have attached a photo where you can see a photoshopped image with the right yellow accent color versus the integrated button function from Klaviyo with the right color code. This specific color doesn’t exist in CMYK. I can’t find any way to configure the color settings. Any one having the same issue or have found a way around this?

Question Mark favicon in Gmail

When sending campaigns/emails from Klaviyo the favicon in Gmail is appearing as a red question mark which automatically looks like spam.After speaking to Klaviyo support they suggested setting up a BIMI in google, you have to this do by obtaining a VMC which is not cheap.Has anyone found an easier solution to this which ideally doesn't cost $1500 every year?

Feature Request - Horizontal Border Bottom

Hello, In the Dynamic Table editor, within Table Setting → Cell Style there’s an option for a horizontal border, but there is no toggle for top border or bottom border. By default it hard-codes it as a top border, but our design uses a bottom border. I tried working around it with custom css and the static row option but neither were viable options. Thank you.

Web tracking script not logging activity

Hey!I am testing the Klaviyo web tracker on a site that requires a login. However, when I am logged in and adding the utm extension including the contact’s email in the URL it still doesn’t even log a “active on site” event.The script is triggered (and placed in the code as required, before the body end tag).Any suggestions as to why I am not getting any events logged?

How to recover people who exited a flow too soon?

Hi,So I have an active flow with a conditional split in between each email. All the conditional splits are “placed 0 orders at all time.” so we wanted to kick anyone out who has placed any order at any time. however, once the flow was active, I noticed one of the conditional splits was wrong and it kicked out everyone who “placed 0 orders at all time,” which is a majority of the people in the flow. I fixed the error, so new participants added to the flow at a later time went through it properly. My question is, is there anyway to recover the people who were kicked out of the flow before I fixed it and put them back in the flow where they should be?thanks!

How to limit number of emails each customer receives?

If a customer clicks on unsubscribe and is persuaded not to by offering them frequency options ie receive emails weekly, monthly or quarterly  or receive only on certain topics or brands how is this best set up ie is customer entered into a segment and the excluded ..? Sean

$value does't work in trigger filter

Hi,I’m having issue setting Trigger Filters in the Flows section of Klaviyo.What does the $value mean here? I suppose it is the price of the product; however, I tried greater than, at most or even not equal to a number. None of them worked.

How to transfer profiles to customer support mail ?

Hello Klaviyo community :) I created a contact form where I ask customers the reason for the contact. I then created segments based on the customer's response. My client divides the answers into several departments (for example, department A will answer a customer who asks for technical information and department B will manage the after sales service, those departments have different contact mail addresses). How to send the profiles created at the time of creation to the different email addresses of the departments concerned? In other words, how to send a profile automatically to a given email address? Thanks a lot

Received Code 200 but only 1 Tracker receives a response

Hi Guys,We’ve been going around so many times with the reference documents/guidelines, re-visited our codes and it seems we were able to put in place Klaviyo’s components accordingly since we get a response of code 200 which means “OK - The request completed successfully” in all the tracking events. But among our tracking events only one of them is captured or displayed inside Klaviyo’s Dashboard.1. Activity on Site - OK2. Viewed Product 3. Added to Cart4. Started Checkout5. Placed Order6. Ordered Product7. Fulfilled OrderIs there a way we can figure out why is this happening? We are already losing hope to resolve the concerns. At least if there was an error code pointing to something that is incorrect we could have probably started somewhere meaningful.Would appreciate anybody’s feedback, thoughts or experiences similar to this.Thank you all!

Showing block if someone does not have proporty

Hi,I am creating a conditional content block in my e-mail. It is triggered by the property person.Klant  I am able to display specific content for persons having specific values of this property:person.Klant == “Value A” person.Klant == “Value B” However some profiles in my list do not have this custom property at all. I would like to show specific content if then don’t have the person.Klant proporty. Have tried al kind of syntaxes but can’t get this working:not person.Klant person.Klant == “” person|lookup:'Klant' != ''Please help.

Weekly Random Quote Email

Is it possible to somehow send a weekly email to my subscribers that includes a random quote picked from a list of 100 quotes either stored in Kaviyo or elsewhere?Any tips greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Differentiate the email sent based on the subscription order to a list

Hello, I’ve prepared a promotion campaign where the first 50 subscribers will receive a coupon code, the second 50 subscribers will receive a different coupon and the rest a different one. Is there any way to set this in an automated flow in Klaviyo?Maybe, a conditional formula in the template or a trigger within the flow? Thank you

Showing varied pricing for diff countries with Shopify Markets

We are looking at moving to Shopify markets but have different pricing for the US and Canada.Is there a way to select different pricing/ override pricing for specific segments if we segmented out each countries customers?With Markets you can have secondary pricing for your different countries but there doesn’t seem to be a way to override product pricing in Klaviyo

Send updated order confirmation (transactional) after changes made to Shopify order

Hi all! When a customer wants to make a change to their Shopify order (change address, item, contact information etc.),  I cannot find a trigger event “updated order” or anything that would send an updated order confirmation because Klaviyo is only pulling the information once upon order placement. I would want a customer to receive proper documentation that reflects the actual order details after the order was modified. Does anyone have this issue, and how did you solve it to send a correct order confirmation after a change was made? TIA!

How to create flow to update properties

I have an add to cart pop up ie when customers click on add to cart they are offered the opportunity to personalise their experience. I get the hidden properties of the product they added to cart to trigger the pop up. Question is how ccan get this field value into our custom property field for Brand? I will also need to be able to trim the field ie to remove product model number so that only Brand name enters the custom property... Thanks

Can you use api_key in header instead of querystring?

When using the REST API you are supposed to authenticate with the api_key parameter in the querystring. A lot of logging systems automatically store querystrings in their access-logs so this is security-wise considered bad practice.It would be better to also he able to authenticate by putting the api_key in the header. I have tried and it does not look like it is used if i only move the property to the header. Has anyone gotten this to work?

I don’t ship to Canada but have SMS subscribers from Canada. How can I avoid sending to them? Do I have to make a new segment of the SMS subscribers?
