Managing returns and flows

Hi!I’m very new to all of this and am just wondering, let’s say I have a flow created to send a series of emails to a customer after they purchase.  Is there any way to somehow exclude those from the flow who go on and end up returning the order? (My industry has decently high return rates - 15-20% is normal) so this is a good chunk of people. The emails wouldn’t make a lot of sense if they’ve returned the item.  I use Shopify and we normally don’t “restock” the item but rather do a part refund as we charge a restock fee. Thanks!

Custom code consent page with custom property

Hello,I am currently working on creating a custom consent page. As I own a dog supplement brand, I am saving the name of the dog in my Klaviyo profiles as well.In my custom consent page I want to give my subscribers the possibility to see and change the name of their dog. It’s no problem to show the dog’s name in the consent page, but to save it. Working in two accounts at same time

Hey,Does anyone know if or when you will be able to be logged into several accounts in different windows and work on them simultaneously?I want to be able to have UK account open on one window/screen and US account open on the other to be able to copy content. At the moment it only allows you to work within one account at one time.I hope this makes sense. Thanks Shelle

Cannot figure out why "added to cart" isn't firing on my PageFly product page?

So I have two things going on:  I’m using Dawn 2.0 and I’m using a pagefly product page that displays differently for desktop and tablet/phone. I can’t seem to get the “added to cart” event to work for me.  Anyone with similar setups have a work-around?

Table is rendering incorrectly on mobile

I need assistance. So, I'm very much interested in Klaviyo and I've taken several courses from the academy.I decided to recreate an email I got inbox and it worked well, when I sent a preview email, on mobile the table under the Logo looked like this image, but the table in the original email looked much better from the senders. How do I fix this? I want the items on the table evenly spaced out and on one line.

How does 'don't show to existing profiles' work?

Hi, So I’m using an exit intent pop up that doesnt show to existing klayvio profiles. The reason for writing this message is because I noticed someone filled out the exit intent form who was already susbscribed to the mailing list! Out of curiosity, is this because either they were on a new device that they havent previously gone through klayvio with ( when i say gone through i mean havent opened a klayvio email or filled out a form) or because going through safari only tracks cookies for 7 days not 2 years. also the exit intent gives 10% off for new customers. I also noticed that a customer filled it in twice in quick sucession (about 5 mins) with 2 different emails. Surely, assuming they are using the same device, they would have been cookied after filling it in once as therefore shouldnt have seen the pop up again?  And also is there not really anything more that can be done to avoid this happening in the future, aside from maybe sending more emails to get people to be cookied on di

How does your Klaviyo Active on Site Metric compare to Google Analytics Users Metric?

We have been digging into the Klaviyo analytics recently and have found some results which seem strange, so I wanted to reach out to this community and see if others are experiencing the same results. The analytic is question is “Active on Site”.  When we compare Klaviyo “Active on Site” to Google Analytics “Users” metric we see about a 1:7 ratio.  This means if Google says we had 10,000 unique users (NOT sessions) on our site in one day, then Klaviyo will typically report approx 1,400 “Active on Site” events in the same day. According to Klaviyo, this is how their tracking system works: “When you add Klaviyo's web tracking to your site, we only track the browsing activity of "known browsers" — i.e. browsers that have visited and engaged at least once before. Klaviyo will not track anonymous browsers.”Given the fact that Klaviyo only tracks “known browsers” it makes sense that their visitor count would be lower compared to Google Analytics, but it seems strange that it would be 7 times

Newsletter subscription opt-in rate

I checked what percentage of people who opt-in for my newsletter actually confirmed received our newsletter. By creating a segment with the following definition:Properties about someone:$consent_form_id is in [my pop-up].I found out that only 36,23% of the people who dropped their e-mail address in my pop-up gave consent by confirming there sign up. I was wondering what the benchmark percentage is and if people have tried to increase this percentage? I have the feeling that my percentage is really low and curious how to improve this.

Link to abandoned cart not working (Shopify)

Hi Klaviyo community,I have seen a few similar questions to this but still cannot get to the bottom of my issues so I’m hoping you can help. I have created an abandon cart flow for my Shopify store using the Klaiyo flow template. I have used the link {{ event.extra.checkout_url}} in my CTA and in a link in the text and every time i preview it defaults to the homepage. Any ideas why this is happening?

Email Lead Generation

In addition to using pop ups and account sign ups on our own site we are interested in collection email leads on Facebook and other Social platforms. How have you found this process. Alternatively have you paid a third party on a cost per lead basis. Thanks Seán

Is the website tracking code and form code the same?

I have this doud. The webiste tracking code in Klaviyo is<script  async type="text/javascript"  src="//static.klaviyo.com/onsite/js/klaviyo.js?company_id=publicApi"></script>  And the form code is:<scriptasync type="text/javascript" src="https://static.klaviyo.com/onsite/js/klaviyo.js?company_id=publicApi"></script>Is almost the same. ¿Por qué mis correos electrónicos van a la carpeta de correo no deseado?

Buenas, tengo un problema y es que la gente que registra su email en el popup aparece como que no abre el email, eso es porque les llega a correo no deseado. Lo he probado por mí misma con varias cuentas que tengo de correo y efectivamente me llegan a la bandeja de correo spam. ¿Cómo lo puedo arreglar o qué puedo hacer?. Muchas gracias y un saludo.

Prestashop integration problems and questions

Hi,I have installed the official Klaviyo prestashop module but I am facing some problems and also have some doubts: 1- It does nor sync API events: Added to Cart, Active on Site, or Viewed Product 2-Added to cart is not even created as event in klaviyo. It should be in API section according to the documentation) 3- Started checkout does not work:  4- Question; Should we use this script when using the module? I remember to read that is not necessary but maybe it complements some functions not working/addition to the module)https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/v1-2/docs/javascript-api

Same Product Viewed Multiple Times

Woocommerce Adding Images to placed order email

We are having trouble adding images to our email order confirmation. The trigger for this is Placed Order. We are able to add the tag to get a single image, I.e the first image on an order but it duplicates on the first image on orders where there are multiple different products.I have attached of all the different tags we have tried with no success.

Is there a way to force the ip address when adding a new profile?

Right now, we’re adding new profiles to a list from our backend.However, these profiles location are set using the ip address of the requester (so the server ip address in this case)It seems like it’s possible to set the location but not to force the ip address?Cool to have the flexibility, but if you don’t know the location, you’re going to use the ip address anyway - as imperfect as it is - and in that case, it forces all server-side api clients to re-implement ip geo-location.In case that helps: we’re using node-klaviyo

Can I move the results of a segment into a list?

I have a new list created based on a facebook ad campaign. This list receive a very specific flow for a short period of time. Once the user has completed the flow and received no emails for 14 days, they are put in a segment. At this point, I want to add that segment to my MAIN Newsletter list. How can I do this?

Do sign up forms/pop ups affect website bounce rate?

Does anybody know if sign up forms that are used as a website pop up affect your bounce rate on the page the form shows on?I work for two sister companies, one of which (website #1) shuts down (meaning has no product) for the summer. Our solution is to redirect all website visitors to our other, separate company website (website #2) where they can buy similar products all summer long. We’re concerned about what our bounce rate will look like after a couple months of people clicking the form on website #1 and immediately being redirected to website #2. Help & thanks!

Shopify newsletter subscribers are not going into klaviyo newsletter list

Hey guys, I have tested subscribing multiple email addresses via the footer form on Shopify and the subscribed contact never syncs across to Klaviyo into the newsletter list... The integration is set up to sync over subscribers. The newsletter footer form includes the newsletter tag as a hidden field. I’m not sure what i’m missing?
