How do you manage your email subscribers with Klaviyo and your shop system?

Hello everyone,

I am currently setting up my Klaviyo integration and would like to know how you handle email subscribers.

Do you exclusively use Klaviyo signup forms and manage all subscribers directly in Klaviyo? Or do you also use your shop system's signup form, resulting in two lists – one in the shop and one in Klaviyo?

If you use both: How do you synchronize the data between the two systems? Have you encountered any challenges or best practices you can recommend?

Looking forward to your experiences! 😊

Hi,

It's best to use the most appropriate tool for each flow. For instance, if someone subscribes at checkout, let your e-commerce platform handle it and sync with Klaviyo. If they subscribe through a Klaviyo signup form, manage that directly in Klaviyo and sync back to your shop system.

Both platforms should share subscribe/unsubscribe data seamlessly when integrated correctly.

Just make sure everything is set up right so you don't end up with duplicate entries or any confusion for your subscribers!
