I was trying to upload a list from a recent trade show because we wanted to send a thank you email to the people who stopped by our booth. About one-quarter of the list was deleted from this upload because their profile already exists in the Klaviyo system. We really want to keep all of the people in this list together so we can send them one email. Does anyone have a solution or workaround to this? I have tried looking in the academy and this community but have not found anything on this subject.

As you mention, Klaviyo automatically de-duplicates any email addresses in a given List by design. I’m assuming this List is your main or primary List that you use (e.g Newsletter or Main). It’s good to make sure all Profiles are uploaded to a singular main list.
However, in this case, what I recommend you do is to create a temporary new List and import it there instead (e.g. “Tradeshow 2025”) since this is a very specific one-time Campaign. Then you can create your “Thank You Campaign” and designate that temporary List as your audience for this Campaign that will reach anyone on your List (from a pre-existing profile, or a new one) of tradeshow attendees. Just note, a profile can belong to multiple Lists or Segments and only be counted once as an Active Profile.
