This post contain resources related to our live training [Strategy Session] Own and activate your Instagram audience with Klaviyo Social Marketing. Whether you attended the training live or you’re simply interested in the topic, you’ve come to the right place!

In this session, we covered how to:

  1. Get discovered and grow your list from social
  2. Turn subscribers into buyers
  3. Keep customers coming back
  4. Automatically enroll your VIP customers into your ambassador program

Key takeaways:

  • Get discovered and grow your list from social: Promote a keyword in your Instagram bio, posts, or boosted ads. When someone DMs or comments, Klaviyo captures their email or SMS consent automatically.
  • Turn subscribers into buyers: Use custom questions to capture preferences at opt-in and segment buyers by response. Enroll each into a personalized welcome flow that leads them straight to their first purchase.
  • Keep customers coming back: Every tag, comment, and DM becomes a trackable Engagement event in Klaviyo. Use those signals to trigger retention flows, acknowledge loyal customers, and make every interaction feel personal.
  • Activate your advocates: Identify your most engaged customers and automatically enroll them in an ambassador flow.

This webinar was very insightful. I have one question. From which month is it possible to connect one instagram account to multiple klaviyo accounts? In the webinar it says coming soon. Very curious to know when as this is important for our account :)

One useful layer before turning social engagement into subscriber flows is understanding what the public account activity actually looks like over time.

For example, follower changes and interaction patterns can help give context around whether a campaign is attracting sustained interest or just a short spike. I’d keep that analysis separate from Klaviyo’s conversion and segmentation layer, since they answer different questions.

Disclosure: I work with DolphinRadar, a public Instagram activity analytics tool.
