How to pull the Order number or Order ID syntax from a Placed Order event?

Hello can someone help me to get the “Order number or Order Id” using the metric “Placed Order”.

Is this possible?

Hi @zerores the easiest way to do this is within a flow that is triggered on placed order. Opening the email editor and then clicking on preview button. Scroll through the list of data and when you see orderID or order number click on it. It will show the variable you can use!

Hello @zerores,

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Community!

Since event data passed to Klaviyo is not uniform across integrations, there wouldn’t be a default syntax used to reference an order number or order ID from the Placed Order event. However, I would recommend reviewing the About Using Event Variables to Personalize Flows and How to View Raw Metric or Event Data in Klaviyo articles to learn more about how to access the raw event data passed from your own integration and how to reference it within your Klaviyo emails.

Other similar Community posts that touch up using and referencing their event data within their Klaviyo emails which may prove helpful to review are:

Hope this helps!
