Help with Klaviyo Email Link Redirecting to Homepage Instead of Cart

Hi everyone,

I’ve been having an issue with my Klaviyo email flow where the link meant to return customers to their abandoned carts is redirecting them to the homepage instead. I’m using the link code provided in Klaviyo ({{ event.extra.checkout_url }}), but for some reason, it’s not functioning as expected.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any insights into why the link might be redirecting incorrectly? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

From the picture I've attached, it looks like I've set it up correctly based on the articles I've read. However, it seems that it might not be functioning as expected from a preview and test standpoint if I’m right ?

I appreciate any further insights or assistance you can provide!

Hi @Trevor Kirui ,

Yes that is correct - in Preview, the flow email won’t exactly appear or work as it would in a live state. 

My suggestion would be to put the flow live, abandon your cart and then test on the email
