Question

Creating a pre order email (Not on a website)

Forum|alt.badge.img

I currently use campaigns to send out notofications for pre orders for our whole business with the stock coming in, but I wanted to know if it is possible to create a flow so that if people don't click on that certain campaign email it will send them another one in a few days? and that if they do click on it then we send them the information needed for pick up. The only problem I am running into is that I don't want this process for evey mai just the pre order ones. I also have our pre order button coded so that they send an email back to us with there order to keep track of it. Is this possible?.

Hello @Deja Zohs,

Yes, you can automate follow-ups for pre-order campaign emails in Klaviyo by creating a flow based on engagement.

These are steps you can follow to set it up:

  1. Create a Segment:

    • Segment users who received the pre-order campaign email.
  2. Set Up a Flow:

    • Trigger: Email received from a pre-order campaign.
    • Filter: Only applies to pre-order emails (use “Campaign Name contains ‘Pre-Order”).
  3. Add Conditional Split:

    • If Clicked: Send pickup details email.
    • If Not Clicked: Wait 2-3 days, then send a reminder email.
  4. Ensure It’s Only for Pre-Orders:

    • Use campaign name filters to avoid affecting other emails.
    • Consider using Klaviyo Forms instead of manual email responses for tracking.

This ensures non-clickers get a follow-up while clickers receive the next steps automatically.

Let me know if you need help setting it up.

Best Regards,

hey thanks for responding, the promplem see with using forms is that some owners have multiple stores and are ordering for multiple stores so its harder, is there a way to do this with forms for them to be able to order for multiple stores just using the one form?

Yes. You can absolutely create a Klaviyo form that allows store owners to order for multiple stores in a single submission.

Though, Klaviyo’s native forms don’t support multi-row submissions out of the box, but here’s how you can work around that:

Option 1: Klaviyo Form (Best for 3-5 Stores)

  1. Create an Embedded Form in Klaviyo.
  2. Add fields for:
    • Store Owner Name, Email, Phone
    • Store 1 Name + Order Details
    • Store 2 Name + Order Details (optional)
    • Store 3 Name + Order Details (optional)
  3. Enable Conditional Fields to show extra store fields if needed.
  4. Trigger an Automated Email confirming their order.

Option 2: Google Form + Klaviyo (Best for Many Stores)

  1. Create a Google Form with:
    • Store Owner Info
    • Store Name + Order Details (Repeatable fields)
  2. Use Zapier to Send Data to Klaviyo
  3. Trigger an Email Confirmation + Internal Notification

Best Choice?

  • For 3-5 stores → Use a Klaviyo form.
  • For 10+ stores → Use Google Forms + Klaviyo.

Hope you understand this?

Okay.

Kindly follow this steps;

Step 1: Create a Pre-Order Form in Klaviyo

  1. Go to Klaviyo Dashboard → Click Sign-Up FormsCreate Form.
  2. Choose "Embedded Form" (so it can be placed on a webpage).
  3. Add Fields:
    • Store Owner Name (Text Field)
    • Email Address (Email Field)
    • Phone Number (Optional)
    • Store 1 Name + Order Details (Text Area)
    • Store 2 Name + Order Details (Optional)
    • Store 3 Name + Order Details (Optional)
  4. Enable Conditional Logic (If available) → Show extra store fields only when needed.
  5. Click "Save & Publish", then copy the form's embed code for your website.

Step 2: Create a Pre-Order Flow in Klaviyo

  1. Go to Klaviyo Dashboard → Click FlowsCreate Flow.
  2. Select "Create from Scratch" → Name it Pre-Order Confirmation Flow.
  3. Set the Trigger:
    • Choose "Submitted Form" Trigger
    • Select the pre-order form you just created.
  4. Add an Action: Send an Email
    • Drag the "Email" Block into the flow.
    • Customize the email with order confirmation details.
  5. Add a Conditional Split (Optional)
    • If the user didn’t click the first email, send a reminder email after a few days.
  6. Click "Save & Publish" to activate the flow.

Now, when someone fills out the form, they’ll automatically receive a confirmation email, and your team can be notified as well.
