Hello,

I want to preface this by stating that I am still in testing mode as I don’t know if that will cause the issue I am having but I need to make sure the links work before sending to customers.

I am trying to set up product reviews from a Klaviyo review flow. I’ve used the template provided but the links are not taking me to the Review Submission Form. I want to use the stars as a link to my Review Submission Form for the specific product that my customer has purchased THEN I want that review to appear on the website (if it is within my set parameters).

This is the section of the review email that’s giving me trouble

When a customer selects a Star rating this is the link

When I “Preview & Test” the email flow this link in the test email takes me here

How do I change the links to direct to the Review Submission Form?

Does the Review Submission Form need to be embedded on the website and if so, how is this done?

Did this topic or the replies in the thread help you find an answer to your question?

Hi @HandsHere

I think the problem arises, because you’re testing the review link in the preview mode inside of the e-mail, instead of clicking in a test mail.

Can you confirm, if this is the way, that you have been testing it? :-)

Hello @HandsHere ,

Great question! Since you're in testing mode, it's crucial to ensure the links work correctly before sending them to customers. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Fixing the Star Rating Links

Klaviyo’s default review flow links may not automatically direct to your Review Submission Form for a specific product. To fix this:
Check the dynamic variables used in the template. If your review platform supports deep linking, ensure the links are formatted correctly (e.g., {{ event.extra.review_url }}).
Manually test the links by replacing the variables with actual product URLs to confirm they work.
Ensure your review app (Loox, Judge.me, Yotpo, etc.) is properly integrated with Klaviyo, as different apps use different link structures.

2. Embedding the Review Submission Form on Your Website

If your review platform requires an embedded form, follow these steps:
👉 Check your review app settings for an embeddable review form link.
👉 Use Shopify's theme editor to insert the form on your product page.
👉 Modify the Klaviyo email template to direct users to this embedded form.

If you need expert assistance to fine-tune this setup and maximize your review collection, I’m happy to help. Let’s get this working—reach out now!

Best,
Adunni
