Hi Klaviyo Team,

he have a campaign for a specific list that is not sending, because it says there are 0 recipients.

Although we have send out multiple campaigns to the same list before and there are 160 contacts in it. Also smart sending is off so this cannot be the reason. Do you a solution for this?

Hi @Souleway

All great responses so far, and there is one final step you can take a look at.

Once a campaign is sent, click on the campaign and ‘recipient activity’.
Navigate down and check if your recipients have bounced or have skipped. There should be a reason why the recipient has skipped.

This once happened to me, and it’s because an RSS link in the email wasn’t pulling in the instagram feed correctly, so skipped everyone. Fixed the link, resent and all was fine.

Hope that helps!

Vic

Welcome to the community @Souleway

During the first step of the campaign set up, do you see 160 in the estimated recpient count (example below)?

Smart send won’t affect that count as that’s determined at send time.

Just checking, is it a list you are sending to or a segment? If the latter, the segment conditions may have now excluded contacts since your last send.

Have you checked your target list/segment to see if the contacts have been suppressed for some reason?

Let me  know how you get on.

Regards

Andy

Hello @Souleway,

If your campaign isn’t sending due to "0 recipients," but the list has 160 contacts, try these steps:

1. Check List Status in Klaviyo

  • Go to Lists & Segments → Your List and verify that contacts are still subscribed.
  • Click into the list and filter for suppressed contacts—if they’re suppressed (unsubscribed, bounced, or marked as spam), Klaviyo won’t send to them.

2. Verify Campaign Settings

  • Smart Sending: You confirmed it’s off, but double-check under Campaign Settings.
  • Exclusion Filters: Ensure there are no exclusion lists or segment filters blocking recipients.

3. Test with a Segment

Try creating a segment, then, try sending the campaign to this segment instead of the list.

4. Check Klaviyo Compliance Issues

If all else fails:

  • Go to Account → Settings → Email to check for compliance warnings.
  • Contact Klaviyo Support if necessary.

Let me know if that helps.

Best Regards,

Hi @Souleway !

Were you able to get this resolved? If so, is there any feedback you can share with the Community so others can reference this post if they experience the same issue?
