Disable Double Opt-in for a Klaviyo List (Competition Landing page email)

Hi,

I created a competition landing page using pagefly with Klaviya sign up form. I’ve created my list and welcome email flow for the competition, but the “confirm your subscription” email keeps coming through. Is there a way to remove that seeing as entrants are already ticking boxes to receive marketing and clicking a subscribe button?

Thank you for sharing this question with the Klaviyo community.

The “confirm your subscription” email is dispatched as a part of Klaviyo’s double opt-in process. This is the default setting for a Klaviyo list.

You will find the option to enable single opt-in (skipping the “confirm your subscription” message) for your list in the list settings tab:

Lists & Segments -> Select the List -> Opt-In Process → Single opt-in
