Hi,

I’m using Klaviyo to send out emails.
At the bottom of every mail, I have a contact section. Here I want link to my e-mail through text.
I’m doing exactly as this guide says (https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005085147-How-to-Add-a-Link-to-an-Email-Address) for the Text block email link.

It works on my phone but when I try to click the link on my computer, it just opens a blank browser page.

Can anyone help? :-)

Best,
Kristine

Hi @MakersRanders,

Thanks for sharing this question with our community.

For your text block, are you using a desktop + mobile block for the contact section or are you using separate desktop + mobile only blocks?

A block set to “Desktop” only on the classic Klaviyo editor
A text block set to “Mobile” only on the new Klaviyo editor

In you are using separate blocks, I’d double-check that the Link Type for the text block on desktop-only is set to “Email” and that you have no “mailto” prefix included. It may be that you have the mobile-only block set up correctly but not the desktop-only block.
