How to shorten the unsub link, but not shorten other links in the message body

It looks like Klaviyo SMS gives the option to shorten all links, or shorten no links.

For the first SMS in our onboarding flow, we’d like a short unsub link, but our branded homepage link to our website.

This is to reassure customers that the message is legit, and potentially in future, we can apply UTMs to our branded link.

Maybe there’s a clever hack we can do for this? We tried creating the branded link through concatenated markdown logic, but that still got shortened. Maybe we could add it as a custom field on each user?

Thanks

Hello @Will123,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

This is a great example of a future feature our Product Team has been working on - custom short links. However, at present there really wouldn’t be a workaround. Link shortening really is an all-or-nothing toggle for links.

I’ll be sure to share this feedback and use case  with our team working on this feature. Although I’m not sure of the timeline for this feature, I’m sure we’ll correspond this new feature when in launches to all our customers.

Thanks for being a part of our Klaviyo Community!
