Custom Properties Hit and Miss

Hi @Taylor Tarpley  I have created a segment with property of consent form id = SDgW8J and with one of the silent custom properties ‘Brand’ = not set In this pop up there are three silent properties ; ‘Brand’, ‘Type’ and ‘glasses or sunglasses’ The pop up will only appear on product pages and therefore should be able to pass both Brand and Type. Thanks for you interest in this.

Multi-metric custom reports for subscribers

Hi @David To  Hi its a multi metric report to keep an eye on metrics such as subscribes and clicks on each day to provide an overiew on how well our pop ups etc are working.

Anyone using Klevu search with Klaviyo?

@niraj.aswani @Taylor Tarpley Thank you both for feedback. Sounds like a great integration with Klaviyo to allow accurate and up to date segmentation, as just because customer has always bought brand x if their recent search is for brand y then it would be more relevant to reach out with brand y messaging.We have a call arrange with klevu next week for a demo..

@Peters-Orchids Im not sure if older customers are any more likely in fact they may be less like lto give you that information. However, if it is important to you then you could request it at checkout or in sign up form. Out of interest, is there a difference in the way you migh market your orchids were some 40 rather than 65? Sean

@Akers Digital Hi you could be right. We may be testing gifs vs pretty average images whereas if we were to test against better static content the result may not be as convincing. Is your experience similar on both application in pop ups as in actual email content?

@Peters-Orchids Welcome to the Community. You should find many of the experts (not me..) in here both helpful and very informative. Our business has a target very much in the area you mention. However, that said, one of the great uses for Klaviyos segmentation is that you can send different messages depending on age by collecting date of birth or other profiling that will enable you send a different message to a 35 yo than you might do to a 65 yo… Sean

Subscribe page not working?

AndreaHave you created a list to which the subscribe form is linked?You can then set up a welcome flow which will start from when they are added to that list.You should have create list in top right of page?  I would recommend spending an hour of your time here; https://academy.klaviyo.com/getting-started-with-klaviyo

Email is showing up as received but not showing up in inbox

Hi @Satu_J  there could be many reasons for this eg could be in spam. How to add property based on purchase

There is quite a lot in this question.. Some points to consider;Which ecommerce platform are you using and just how much information can you pass to klaviyo with each order? If you have 40 niches, how are they arranged with products eg Do you have 10 products specific to Nurse nice? Again depending on eCommerce system you may be able to add the products to a collection eg Nurse collection and then pass that to Klaviyo Think early about possible use cases for this segmentation so that it is set up properly from the start. Welcome series for subscribers and newsletter subscribers

Kit You will find pre built templates with the Creat a Flow dashboard.There are also lots of resources to help you understand how flows etc work before diving in and sending messages to your customers. In your case you may best with one list if possible. When someone signs up for your newsletter then they enter the New Subscriber flow. You can use a filter to take them out of this flow if they make a purchase and instead they can then enter the post purchase flow. You will find a lot of what you need in this short course; https://academy.klaviyo.com/automating-the-customer-journey-with-flows

Self-Segment Poll

HiThe first thought I have here is how have your susbscibers been introduced to your list. If by a pop up then you could profile the customer at that stage either by requesting the select their interest as X or Y or by having two pop ups on pages relevant to X or Y and then passed X or Y as a silent property.This would be my recommendation as you can then send relevant flow message from the get go rather than asking for infomation.https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040841811-How-to-segment-for-form-results The alternative option could to be ask customers to update preferences within the flow email. However my thought would be that complettion rate would be low. You scould then put a conditional split in your flow with a time delay and what someone has done zero times since entering this flow as ‘updated email preferences’ as below; https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002779091-How-to-add-an-additional-filter-to-a-single-flow-email

HiWhich is the form builder / pop up tool that you are using for first step? It may be that you can send the first name to klaviyo and then do not request the first name again in the klaviyo pop up?Sean

HiI am not sure about the Shipstream integration however as far as SMS notifications are concerned they will be sent by Klaviyo.

How does Klaviyo know who's who?

Within the pop up builder you have the option not to show to existing klaviyo profiles. Or you can create a segment and use the consent form id property to determine whether you show or dont show to certain profiles.
