@wouter It’s great to hear that customers are being added to your Klaviyo account!  If they’re going to a different list than you anticipated, this could be related to your Shopify integration settings. To double check what list your integration is sending subscribers to, navigate to the integrations tab of your account and click into your Shopify integration. You’ll see what list is selected under the Collect Subscribers section. Best to check that your newsletter list is selected under that drop down as this could be causing the issue

Hi @wouter ! Based on your screenshot, everything seems to be in order. I am wondering whether people are not being added to your newsletter list due to double opt-in. If double opt-in is enabled for your newsletter list, people must first confirm they want to subscribe to emails from you before they are added to your list. It’s a great way to keep your newsletter list healthy by making sure only engaged subscribers get added! You can confirm whether double opt-in in enabled by clicking into your newsletter list in Klaviyo, select settings, then scroll down until you see the opt-in process box. From this area, you can also enable single opt-in. If you choose to enable single opt-in instead, just make sure to clean your list regularly so that you’re getting rid of any contacts who aren’t engaging with your messaging!

Why is hyperlinked text in an abandoned cart email not redirecting people to checkout?

Hi @copywriter789 - it looks like already @Taylor Tarpley replied to your other post with a solution! To echo her thoughts, my first instinct is to check your email template for any mobile-only settings that may have been accidentally applied. This could be what’s causing the issue. You can double check whether your content displays the same across all devices, and make any necessary changes, from the styles tab within the editor!  Let us know if this helps. Great, I’m glad to hear it @Alena !  Like @david.to mentioned, we can’t retroactively send double opt-in emails to people who previously subscribed. But there is the work around of creating a segment in Klaviyo of these people, then re-importing them into your list! Klaviyo will never create duplicate profiles so you don’t need to worry about the re-import causing any duplicates :) The best way to make this segment is to use the Shopify tags that get attached to profiles who subscribed through your signup form:Use the Properties About Someone definition in the segment builder > select Shopify Tags > then contains > prospect Then add an AND connector and use Properties About Someone > select Shopify Tags > contains > password page Add another AND connector and select If Someone Is or Is Not in a List > is not in list *name of your list they’re subscribing to* Lastly, add a final AND connector and select If Someone Is or Is Not Suppressed > is not suppressedOnce y

Hi @Alena I’m glad it was helpful!Have you tried looking in other .liquid files within your Shopify theme? We don’t have a way to know for sure exactly what file this tag will be located in, since it can vary from theme to theme. If you do a command F (or control F if you’re on a PC!) and search for <input type="hidden" name="contact[tags]" in each liquid file you should be able to locate the correct code snippet and amend it as described in the post! This will ensure a double opt-in email is sent to the user so that they can subscribe to your designated list.I hope this helps! :)

It looks like someone from our team was able to help you out and get your Welcome series and your Abandoned Cart emails working.Just to help others who might be experiencing an issue similar to this: when connecting an integration, like Shopify, to your account, you'll want to make sure that you're including all the necessary web tracking snippets (like Viewed Product) to your store so that the data can be properly collected. We have resources for how to integrate with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and others. Thanks!

Hey @citiblush it sounds like you’ve covered a lot of groundwork with your troubleshooting! Depending on the time delay in your flow, you possibly haven’t received an email yet because the appropriate amount of time hasn’t passed. If this is the case, you’ll see yourself in the Waiting bucket of your flow’s analytics!An extra step I like to take when troubleshooting a flow is to put the flow in manual mode and check to see if the email address I abandoned a checkout with queued properly. If your flow is triggering correctly, you’ll see yourself fall into the Needs Review bucket, which allows you to further investigate before manually selecting to send the email.I also like to check my spam folder in case the email was sent but landed in spam instead of in my main inbox as a last resort!

Hey @lemonandline - this is a great use case! I’ve seen people do this by using Klaviyo’s URL targeting behavior with signup forms. You could create a new page on your online store that will only be used by the iPad to collect new signups. Next, you’d create a form in Klaviyo and set that form to only appear on that specific URL. You could setup the iPad so that it’s already showing that page, where the signup form would appear for customers to subscribe. You’d need to refresh the page after each signup though in order to get the form to appear again for the next customer.  I haven’t come across any specific guides that walk through this but will keep looking!

Hi @JustJassy. What a great question to pose to the Community! Klaviyo can accumulate email addresses in a variety of different ways. I’ll highlight the 3 most common ways:Through signup forms (the recommended method!) Klaviyo has a variety of forms that are easy to create and publish to your store! Check out our guide to signup forms here By importing a csv If you already have a list of opted-in contacts, you can manually import them into Klaviyo through a csv file When people engage with your online store If you have an online store that is integrated with your account, Klaviyo will ingest the contact information of people who shop with you! For example, when someone starts a checkout on your store, we save their email address and the item that they had in their cart. I couldn’t agree more with @Bobi N.  on this! Using the same branded email template can save you a lot of time. You’ll definitely want to edit the text in the email to ensure the messaging is different. People who trigger a welcome flow are at a different point in their journey with your brand as people who trigger a post-purchase message. As long as you adjust the copy of the email, it’s totally okay to use the same template!

@shannon_fay thanks for these details! I’m wondering whether the order logic of conditions in your segment is getting a bit confused. You could try reordering the conditions like this:Opened or Clicked email at least once in last 180 days And placed order 0 times over all time  And is not suppressed for emailOne other question I have for you - did you use the Determine Recipients at Send Time setting when scheduling your campaign? It's possible that if you did not, your campaign could have been sent to customers who purchased the night prior. If this is the case, here’s how to turn that setting on for next time!

Hey @shannon_fay, happy Friday! Segments update in real time once they’re built. Did you use an AND connector when saying customers had to purchase 0 times over all time? It sounds like there may have been an issue with how your segment conditions were connected together but it’s difficult to say for sure if this is the case without seeing how the segment was built! Could you post a screenshot of your segment definition? Thanks!

How can a profile that bounced also open a campaign?

Thanks for this screenshot! Very helpful for me to see the whole picture!After a profile opens an email, the 7 soft bounce rule will reset. A profile would have to receive 7 emails from you in a row, soft bounce on all of them, and never open any of them, in order for Klaviyo to automatically suppress their email. In the case of this customer, they’re not at the point yet where they meet the 7 consecutive soft bounces in order to be suppressed. Let me know if this helps!

Hey there! Happy to hear that you found our list cleaning resources helpful! There are two types of bounces that effect profiles in Klaviyo:A hard bounce meaning the email address was invalid in some way or an error occurred with the server so the message was unable to be delivered. Invalid emails are common causes of hard bounces. An example of an email that would hard bounce could be test@test.com  A soft bounce which occurs due to a more temporary reason, like the recipient’s inbox being fullKlaviyo will automatically suppress a profile that hard bounces but will only suppress a profile that soft bounces after 7 consecutive soft bounces. In this case, it sounds like this profile may have soft bounced a few times since they were later opening emails. You mentioned that this person already bounced 4 times. If their profile soft bounces 3 more times in a row, they will become automatically suppressed in your account. When you regularly email profiles that tend to bounce a lot, this can
