Campaign content disappears

Thank you for your response. I needed to send out the campaign right then, so I just rebuilt it.I thought maybe I had clicked something that wiped everything out or took me to a different editing window…  I’ll try your suggestions next time.

Confused about List / Segment Results

Oh, I just figured out something in the segments that I didn’t see!!When I’m searching for both my Mailchimp list and my Klaviyo list, I have to select a parameter for each list. So If I want to search for people who have clicked 1x over all time, I have to do that for both the Klaviyo list and the Mailchimp list.

Hi @Leslie Nicole, Thanks for sharing your questions with us and thank you @Petru Iacob for your input as well. @Leslie Nicole, jumping back to your original question: Can you double-check that you used an “OR” separator for both your Klaviyo list and your Mailchimp list?   I was indeed using “and”. I read the article about and/or. That was very helpful.I still have a lot of digging to do to understand the transition between my Mailchimp / Klaviyo migration. My biggest realisation though is seeing how unhealthy my list has become. No wonder my sales have declined over the years. It’s a good eye-opener to get on track all around with following my analytics, cleaning my list, and attracting new, quality customers. I never took the time in Mailchimp to figure all this out. It felt overwhelming. I don’t know if it’s just that I’m ready to do these things, but it seems easier to figure out in Klaviyo.

Confused about List / Segment Results

I just tried another segment - I chose the Mailchimp newsletter list and ran those who clicked at least once in a certain period of time. It had 3 people in the segment!When I look at my reports in Mailchimp, single campaigns had over 700 clicks - so how is it possible that in Klaviyo I’m getting these results? Is it not integrated? My information is clearly off so I don’t know how to proceed in warming my list if the results are so inaccurate.

Did you have any contacts in your Klaviyo before? I’m not sure what you mean by “before”? I actually signed up for Klaviyo and started integration but continued using Mailchimp for a year!! I know it’s crazy, but I didn’t have time to figure out Klaviyo - kept putting it off for “next month”. I’ve now completely stopped Mailchimp but I’ve only sent out Welcome email flows since November. So, I’m now really just getting started with Klaviyo, but it has been synched with Mailchimp and Shopify for quite some time. Does that answer the question?

No Time To Warm List

How big is your list? How often do you send?   My list is around 6100. I usually send out about once a week. Sometimes less -  more during a sale. Right now, I haven’t sent out a newsletter in around 9 weeks due to illnesses. Also, I’ve only sent out a few emails with Klaviyo to a very small portion of my list. I have a new subscriber funnel with one email. Could you expand on the “Call to action to drive engagement?” I was going to send out a newsletter letting people know about new subscriber freebies - so that will generate clicks. Should I actually tell people it’s a new email service to me and ask them to …. do something?

No Time To Warm List

I’ve read on several articles (not Klaviyo) that if you are NOT using your own software to send out emails that warming up the list isn’t as important because they are used to getting emails from the ISPs of the biggest autoresponders (Like Klaviyo)

Advice For Switching Email-Service Providers Just Before Black Friday?

Hi @Leslie Nicole,    You could keep your Klaviyo forms active, however, you would need to turn off any Flow connected to the attached Lists subscribes are added to upon form submission. This would be to prevent any outgoing messages from Klaviyo for the time being.    Additionally, I inquired more with fellow colleagues and they shared that sending from Klaviyo would be ok in your situation, albeit if it’s only to your highly-engaged audience. Balancing sending from two providers might require extra-effort and consciousness, however, it really is your call on what’s best for you and your business in this BFCM season!    Wishing the best for you!  -Taylor  Boy, this is tough as I had already disconnected my shop from Mail Chimp. Hi all,   However, it should be noted that whenever switch from one email-service provider to the other, it is best to do it as soon as possible. If marketing is coming from your company via two different providers i.e. flows, campaigns, it could cause email providers to be suspicious of your brand. Thanks so much, Taylor. So, do I have to switch all my forms back to Mailchimp until after BFCM?

Hi @Leslie Nicole, Typically, it takes 2-4 weeks to warm your account!     I didn’t know about warming the list until I had already switched my forms over to Klaviyo and I have a welcome flow with an opt-in gift.I’m kind of in a pickle because I would have to redo everything back to Mailchimp and create a flow in Mailchimp which I don’t know how to do.I was thinking of doing one last campaign in Mailchimp tomorrow. I suppose I can tell people to look for my BFCM notices and cross my fingers the Klaviyo emails go through after. Or, maybe I can manually add any new subscribes to Mailchimp and do my BFCM emails through Mailchimp and after start switching to Klaviyo?

I’m having trouble with this as well.I have the Out of the Sandbox Flex theme - updated to Shopify 2.0. I tried pasting my code into the product_main.liquid above the schema line, but I get an error message. I also tried the product-sections__main.liquid and get the error message. These are all the product sections I have in my theme. Which would I use?

Thanks so much for those resources, Dov. I will go check them out!I should have been clearer on what I meant by “Instantly” I still want them to do the double opt-in process - I just meant would the welcome series be triggered quickly so they get the coupon code right away. I’ll go read the sources you provided - sounds intriguing. Thanks!

Hi, I’m Leslie. I’m an American living in France with my French husband, Weimaraners, and rescue cats. (Cassie is that Weim or a Visla?
