Two-steps authentication - new phone

The directions here are plain wrong for my situation. In my case, the multi-factor auth is under my personal settings, not the client’s settings. The client actually has multi-factor auth OFF in my case. The setting to turn of multi-factor is here: account → personal →Multi-factor Authentication.

Agreeing that getting a new phone is a total disaster. All the auth codes/set ups are gone. The log in screen where you are required to add the code should have a way to start over by scanning the QRcode.

Why aren't my Facebook Lead Ads syncing to Klaviyo?

response from help chat 10/26/2022These errors can occur if the user who integrated with Klaviyo did not have the correct permissions upon setting up the integration. The Facebook integration is very sensitive with permissions. This 403 error highlights that there are missing permissions. The person integrating with Facebook must be an admin on the Facebook Business page, Facebook Ad page, have admin permission everywhere, and have accepted Facebook's Terms of Service. In order for this to work, these permissions and Terms of Service must be completed before integrating. Errors can occur if the user who integrated with Klaviyo did not have the correct permissions upon setting up the integration.We can try and resolve the error that you are experiencing by resetting the integration. I apologize as this may seem repetitive, but we want to ensure that the permissions are set up accordingly. Please note, you will need to set up your custom audiences and lead ads again once the integration

Why aren't my Facebook Lead Ads syncing to Klaviyo?

@Jessie SiglerThank you for these details. These are essential, and I’ve not seen them in any of the documentation.They have helped me identify but not resolve my problem. From list settings, I’ve got this error message, but no links/tips for resolving it. What does this message mean? Is “the user” me or could it be someone else with access to the account?I have successfully used the FB lead gen integration many times in the past, but I cannot get my latest form to connect and send info to Klavyio.I have checked inside business manager re permissions you outlined here. I already had all those permissions, but I added another team member in case she was the one who authorized the FB → Klaviyo integration the last time it was done. That’s one thing I’m unsure about. Does the integration rely on the individual Klaviyo user who last set it up? Or does it rely on whoever is currently logged into the Klaviyo account and making the connection? Just got email from help/support that this issue is fixed. I tried, and it appears it is now working again. They never listed this problem or fix on the status page. https://status.klaviyo.com/

We are having the same issue right now! Has anyone found a workaround? No workaround. The template even strips out the link when you add it in source code. Infuriating.

we are having this same issue too. very frustrating! I’m having this issue as well. Seems to have appeared within the past couple of hours. Maybe that’s why chat help had 60-something folks ahead of me. Yikes! I sent in an email help request instead. The problem sucks, but thanks to both of you for replying. At least I know I’m not alone!! It’s for sure broken in the NEW template builder. Can still add links in the old one.I also checked here: https://status.klaviyo.com/ Yet no note about this error.

I’m having the same issue. I cannot link text. It just disappears. Whether I use the link insert tool or even edit the HTML manually, nothing. I’ve filed a support ticket.

My point is that the email subject line should be NEW EDITOR IS GOING TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR KLAVIYO WORK FLOW | PAY ATTENTION OR YOU’LL WASTE A TON OF TIME not something generic like “updates.” You aren’t understanding what I’m saying about templates. I’m not saying creating a new template. I’m saying CUSTOMIZING A PREMADE TEMPLATE.When you have a new account, Klaviyo automatically uploads a bunch of pre-made templates. See those were all created on Jan. 22? That’s when the client started his new Klaviyo account. If you start with those, there is no option to use new editor. (Of course, I start with those as it’s time saving.) I deleted most of them already (as they are redundant) or renamed them. But here’s what I’m talking about.Also see you guys have just 11 min. ago added something here to alert me to the New Editor. Smart! That’s exactly where I need to see it.

Adding images side by side in an email

Table is a good solution (compared to using columns) for making sure background color works properly without white spaces. But it seems that table areas don’t allow for custom fonts, so while the background looks good, the module sticks out like a sore thumb due to font difference. So… ultimately I’ve got to choose which is lesser of two evils.UPDATE: somehow when I left the template and came back, the font started appearing in the table! Yay! So table is an excellent solution.

@alex.hong I don’t have margin in my schedule to watch videos and much prefer to receive info in text format. I think this change is big enough that it needs its own email/post/message and not lump it into a generic “updates” share. Yes, when I use the create new template feature, I see this option, but I’ve never before clicked that. I only did it for the first time after seeing your directions. I have always started with the premade templates and edited those to my preferences. When you work from there, there is no option to use the new editor and no notice of it either. It would make more sense to have a note on the template area of Klaviyo, explaining this change. I will absolutely wait for the ability to convert an old editor template to a new editor template. I cannot redo all the work I’ve already done. Just no time margin for duplicating my work.And thanks for the link to the possible solutions. I will try a table instead of columns.

Wow, thank you @alex.hong ! I have to admit that I didn’t even know that there is a new editor with much more possible configurations. So thank you very much for your help! Simon Wow. I just spent hours on a new template for a new client, and now I’m seeing that there’s a new editor?! Ugh. Why didn’t you guys email users about this change? This is pretty big. And there’s no way to convert templates over into it? I have to manually recreate the template I just spent hours on? Why do you do this to us, Klaviyo?I came here due to same problem with extra white space around image in a 2-column layout. I cannot get rid of it despite updating backgrounds to the same color.

fastest way to trigger a flow (to avoid hour delays)

Thanks again. I felt bad about monopolizing that other thread that wasn’t even mine. Also figured others may search for this info, so it needs a separate thread.Answer to this question is: use list-triggered flow for IMMEDIATE sending w/o delays. Be sure it’s a single-opt-in list.

[I didn’t get a notification that you replied/tagged me @Taylor Tarpley . Came over to look and found it.]Folks in booth sign up to get unique coupon code delivered via email. (I already know how to to the coupon set up. My question is about the lag between sign up and email firing.) We want them to get the coupon IMMEDIATELY so that they can, if desired, place their online order right there in the booth with customer service assistance in customizing their package.If there’s a potential hour delay, this will not work. What if a flow is triggered by adding to a new LIST instead of a segment? Will that trigger immediately? If that’s what it takes, I will use a new LIST instead of creating segment of existing list. Please tell me what triggers immediately and I will use that. (And sending a campaign after the fact, yeah, of course, I can do that. But the point is we want an immediate email upon request at any minute of any day that someone is in that booth. We can’t be manually sending e

@Taylor Tarpley Since there’s such a potential delay on flows triggered by segments, can you tell me what is the most INSTANT way to trigger a flow so I can avoid this delay? I’ve got to set something up for a live event, and the email send has to be immediate.

Yes, confirming. My flow and segment were set up correctly. The issue was the hour delay. @Taylor Tarpley If I had known there could be up to an hour delay, I would not have spent time troubleshooting and second guessing myself. For an hour.

It’s also important to note that in Segments there can be a delay of up to 1 hour before Klaviyo “processes” that the subscriber is eligible to enter the Segment based on the Segment's definitions, so if you don’t see your segment automatically updating and a user receiving the Flow email in mind, this is the reason. An hour?! I’m sitting here wasting so much time troubleshooting something and then I find out it takes an hour?!@Taylor Tarpley This above information is exactly the kind of (infuriating) missing detail in the help docs. This very critical tidbit should be added to this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003040052-Guide-to-Creating-a-Segment-Triggered-FlowWhy should I have to read help docs and also peruse this board for the REAL facts I need? I mean, I appreciate that the answer is here, but why isn’t it in the help docs? I’ve spent over an hour troubleshooting something that’s NOT BROKEN (as per your delay).

Create Segment For Expiring Coupons

Filtering for coupons only works for static coupons, not dynamic coupons. Unfortunately, @paulo if you use a dynamic code, you would not be able to filter by “contains”. I’m glad to get this answer since I was unsuccessfully trying to create a segment of coupon users. But not too happy with the answer itself. Dynamic coupons have fantastic benefits, and it would be useful to have a metric of placed order → used coupon (any code!) to find who has done this action. My client simply does not use static codes due to the tendency for abuse.

FEATURE REQUEST: More OR options or ability to duplicate segment criteria

Ah… so instead of Ordered Product → Product name, I can simply use Placed Order → ProductNames and load up multiple names there. There’s the nutshell answer to my dilemma. Thank you.Also thank you for explaining that the items in black/red in your screenshot are OR items. That is not explicitly stated when building the segment, and I was afraid it could possibly be translated as AND.
