@Patrik99 - If you’re unable to add NS records to your DNS - used for the dynamic routing option of the branded sending domain - I would recommend selecting the static option. Using the static option will allow you to use CNAME records for adding a branded sending domain. This is also called out in our How to set up a branded sending domain Help Center article:NoteKlaviyo recommends selecting the Dynamic routing option to best optimize your sending performance. However, note that some DNS providers do not support NS records. If your DNS provider does not support NS records, you must use the Static routing option.

Hi there, thanks for the webinar! Question for the team… If we cannot get our DMARC set up on time, do you suggest that we pause email sends until then? If so, do you recommend pausing all email sends including automations, transactional emails + marketing emails? Hey @VM10 and @BPSC-M10-MD,This would really depend on your business and what your typical send volumes are like. Beginning on February 1, Google and Yahoo will begin to block emails that do not meet their requirements. This means, if you’re sending emails after 2/1 without meeting all of the new sender requirements, you’ll begin to see elevated bounce rates in your email sends - both campaigns and flows. If you have a smaller sending volume and you plan on meeting all of the requirements shortly after this date, then it may be alright to send one or two emails. However, if you have a large sending volume, then I would recommend pausing all sends. This is because elevated bounces will negative impact your sender reputation.

Hey @Travis,Great questions!To provide further clarification on the point you brought up regarding the Shared IP addresses found in Google’s Email sender guidelines - this does not mean everyone on a shared IP is held responsible for the entire group’s spam rate. In fact, Google’s new requirements of keeping spam complaint rates lower than 0.10% is on the domain level, not the IP level:Spam rateRegularly monitor your domain's spam rate in Postmaster Tools. Keep spam rates reported in Postmaster Tools below 0.10% and avoid ever reaching a spam rate of 0.30% or higher. Learn more  It’s also important to understand that inbox providers pays much closer attention to one’s domain reputation rather than IP reputation when determining one’s overall sender reputation. Keeping and maintaining a low percentage of spam complaint rate is on the onus of the sender rather than Klaviyo. Because of this, it’s important to practice positive list hygiene by ensuring you’re collecting proper consent from

My sending domain shows "via" another domain

Hey @mikepk14,Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!When you say you “send emails out for Redox Medical Group” is it sent from the SSRP Klaviyo account? If so then this is an expected behavior.From your screenshot, it appears you’re email is sent using a from-address of info@redoxmedicalgroup.com, while the account’s branded sending domain is set up as ssrpinstitute.org. Hence why you’re seeing the “info@redoxmedicalgroup.com via ssrpinstitute.org” in the email details. Additionally, I would discourage this practice of sending with a from address/domain of @redoxmedicalgroup.com while using a branded sending domain of @ssrpinstitute.org. Doing so causes a misalignment with inbox providers which can lead to increased bounces/blocks. In turn, this would negative impact your sender reputation. This sort of alignment is also a standard set forth by both Google and Yahoo. Am I missing the Coupon block in email templates?

Hey @Not Your Grandma's,Thanks for the feedback!I suspect there isn’t a coupon code block similar to a sign-up form’s is due to how many more ways dynamic coupons can be used in emails. Send Invoice When order placed through WooCommerce (Any Automation)

Hey @pavan,Although Klaviyo does not offer a prebuilt order confirmation flow for WooCommerce, we do offer the customer thank you: new vs. returning prebuilt flow which you can customize to fit your needs. Alternatively, you can also always build your flow and email templates from scratch. Cross device cart abandonment with Woocommerce

Hello @Emailim,Seems like you may have missed the Rebuilding carts from an abandoned cart flow subsection in our Getting started with WooCommerce Help Center article. As mentioned, using {{ organization.url|trim_slash }}/cart?wck_rebuild_cart={{ event.extra.CartRebuildKey }} can help rebuild your user’s cart which they abandoned. Keep in mind that this would typically only work if you’re using a standard WooCommerce checkout page which records a WooCommerce started checkout event. If you’re using a custom checkout page, you should be able to replicate this sort of function, but would require a different setup - which I would recommend working alongside your developer. I hope this helps!David

Lost campaign

Hey @Tom K.,Adding to @retention’s great suggestions, could you perhaps have been editing a template instead of a campaign? Meaning, you were actually editing an email template, then navigated to the campaigns tab but was unable to locate the campaign you thought you were editing?From my own experience, this has certainly happened to me before. If it was an actual campaign, I would check in to see if any of your colleagues or other users of the account may have either archived or deleted the campaign by accident. David

Hey @eCommetry,That would depend on if these subscribers are already cookied through the browser they’re viewing your site from. Despite your subscribers not having signed up through a conventional sign-up form, so long as they are cookied and recognized as being on the list, the Klaviyo targeting behaviors would still apply.David

Shipping update email

Hey @rohan12334,Those three bottom products without images, are they a part of the order and/or are they present in the order event data? I’m assuming they are since it’s being pulled into the email as part of the dynamic block. This sort of behavior is typically normal - since the email/dynamic block is doing what it’s supposed to do. I would suggest reviewing how you’ve built the dynamic table block just to rule out it wasn’t built incorrectly. If so, and you wanted to omit those types of products from being pulled into the dynamic table block, I would recommend using some logic to hide them. There’s been several posts on this topic within the Community that I’ve included below that I think can help you come up with a solution:I hope this helps!David

Conditional Split Specific Email Open

Hey @lisa11203915,I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to. Klaviyo’s template editor supports writing logic statements for a wide variety of use cases such as showing or hiding certain blocks, elements, etc. If you haven’t already, I would recommend checking out our many Help Center articles on using our template editor from our Templates article directory. Webhooks allow you to send information from Klaviyo to your third-party tool or application. You can learn more about this feature from our Understanding webhooks in flows Help Center article. David

Issue with Wrong Welcome Email Sending After Placed Order

Hey @alish_ann,In my experience, adding a time delay would certainly help! This sort of behavior is typically due to how data from Shopify is synced to Klaviyo. If you’re concerned with those users signing up from a footer or pop-up form not receiving their discount in time, I would suggest separating those users out using lists or segments. This way, you can serve these users coming from the signup forms a different flow experience than the ones coming through from purchasing. David

How do I display price including VAT in my Abandoned Cart Prestashop 8.0.4

Hey @DennisMAX,If the default pricing isn’t including VAT, I would suggest checking to see if your started checkout event is passing a variable that has the price including VAT you could use. I would also make sure you’ve also already enabled your PrestaShop settings to include VAT in it’s pricing - which you learn more how from our How to enable PrestaShop price include VAT Help Center article. Another solution I’ve seen others use if your VAT is a constant rate, is using a variable filter such as |multiply to add the VAT to your product price. I’ve previously discussed this in a past Community post which I’ve shared below:I hope this helps!David

It’s not surprising for emails to land in the promotion folder, especially if your content is marketing in nature. Function libraries for email templates?

Hey @aagmatt,Welcome to the Klaviyo Community! Seems like you may have overlooked our universal and saved content features which are meant do do just what you’re describing. For blocks you used often, you can always save them by hovering and selecting the star icon. Once saved, you can access and use this exact block in any other template your editing by finding the saved block under the Universal tab. You can also take it a step further and make changes to these saved blocks, which can then be reflected across all other templates using the saved block - so long as they’re linked. Also, instead of copy and pasting custom profile variables, I would suggest using the Add personalization menu within a text block. I find that this makes personalizing emails a lot easier. Overall, you wouldn’t even need to actually make any functions, all you have to do is save the block you want!David

Order confirmation email customization - syntax error

Hey @janz,I’m assuming this is a Shopify notification template you’re working with based on the variables in your screenshot. If so, then this behavior is typical when previewing it within Klaviyo.Since the Shopify notification templates are meant to be exported for use within Shopify, previewing them in Klaviyo will lead to a syntax error. Klaviyo and Shopify templates do not use the same syntax base. If you haven’t already, I would encourage you to review our How to personalize and export Shopify notification emails Help Center article which explains this in greater detail. There’s also been a number of past Community posts on this topic.
