Double Opt-in Email Setup - Frustrated

hmm.. for this to work you have to make sure that signup_field is sent to Klaviyo even though they didn’t finished the double opt-in. Otherwise, the only thing you will have is channel status Never Subscribed. Again.. so stupid that we can’t get that crucial feature..

Sorry about that. It’s not possible with “recieved mail”. I found a workaround:Create custom property when they click sign-up somewhere (we’ve called it signup_field) letting us know if it was in the footer, lead ad, one of the steps in the checkout flow etc. Create segment with the following: properties about someone: signup_field is set AND Properties about someone: created is between dates (start date) and (end date) Then you have all properties that wishes to subscribe and can create a flow for analysis or just an analysis report to find the data you want.more simple:clone the first segment and add another AND which results in a flow that looks like: properties about someone: signup_field is set AND Properties about someone: created is between dates (start date) and (end date) AND What someone has done (or not done): subscribed to list between dates (same period as above)

The double opt-in email is unique in the sense that it’s sent on your behalf from Klaviyo. Because of this, viewing the engagement data (opens, clicks, etc) for it is not available since it’s not technically sent from your specific Klaviyo account; but rather from the Klaviyo infrastructure itself.  But I guess you do understand why @suchi_klavier is asking for that, right?It’s an important information to have: If you make 100 leads through Meta but 60 of them doesn’t double opt-in you have to do something about it. The same goes for open rate and other stuff.I do have a solution for you @suchi_klavier. You could create segments and do the easy math by yourself:“recieved mail” containing “{something that is unique in you opt-in title}” within {period} AND subscribed to list zero times within {period}. “recieved mail” containing “{something that is unique in you opt-in title}” within {period} AND subscribed to list at least once within {period}.the same goes for opens, clicks and may

Un-suppressing profiles after a sunset flow

Thank you, @Hyper Scale Marketing, your most recent reply helped clarify some things! My only problem now is that I don’t see a Remove from List action as an option on the flow. Here is a screen shot of what I see:   I have the same question: where is the “remove from list” action?

Hi @Patrick Hoffmann, Unfortunately we do not support dynamic countdown clocks at this time so it will need to be uploaded just as an image instead of a Source of a Text block like how you can in an Email Template. However, we do have an entire HC article related to How to add a countdown timer to your emails and signup forms I suggest you check out too.   Thanks, Alex You know that it takes 5 minutes to do that each morning, 5 times a week x 52 weeks = 21 anually hours x $42 salary = $822 AND so much time that could have been spend so many other urgent places, right?

I have been trialling Optimonk as an alternative to Klaviyos pop up builder. Anyone else have experience of this app? Nope, the most popular I know is Sleeknote but expensive.. Crazy that Klaviyo hasn’t fixed this yet. Seams really easy.

Hi @alex.hong,We already use CountdownMail but the issue is that the only way to insert the counter within our signup form is by image (GIF) and that doesn’t update from time to time.. If we could insert the embed code we would be home safe by the end of the day ;)

You should add a function where you could add a countdown timer to the signup form.. in that way many of us could just add the counter and get on with other tasks.. not allowing us to customize our text fields in our signup forms (popup on-site) is just wierd? :)

Hi @stephen.trumble That’s cool. We just did it manually and all has been set up now. I think the new editor is very slow compared with the old editor. It’s actually kind of laggy.

Hey @FrankSJ  Thank you for reaching out to the Klaviyo Community for help with the New Email Template Editor. Happy to help! While this is a really great time to get to know the new template editor, converting existing template into the new builder  is a feature that will be launched in an upgrade to the new builder. I do not have a time frame for when that will be, but will update this thread when this feature is released! Maybe one of our experts in the Community has found a work around for this in the meantime? Thank you again for being part of the Klaviyo Community! Have you made this possible now? :-)

Move subscribers from list to another list after preference update (or delete from one)

Hi Dov,Thanks for joining!Actually I had all the thoughts you just shared with me. After writing the post I decided to change all the Manage Preference Pages to english just to overcome the issue with them reading it in german (if they where to manage their preferences though the opt-in mail (this is lists-based and correctly static and the link will always direct them to the List-manage-preference-page).I will be using segments looking at their language-property so after opting in they will all get the Global Manage Preference Page.For the question about moving them from one list to another I’ve set up Zapier to add them to the list they belong to. And I get that at this point having multiple lists doesn’t seem that important WHICH is why I are considering consolidating them into one. The only thing keeping me from doing it is that I believe it’s VERY important that subscribers from especially Germany recieves all their information in their own language from the beginning. Yes, the same dedicated sending domain can be shared amongst other Klaviyo accounts. Does the new account need to warm up the domain again? If the domain is already warmed up by a different Klaviyo account, the new Klaviyo account does not need to warm up the sending domain again. However, it’s important to be cognizant of the performance of all Klaviyo accounts that are using the same sending domain, as it will affect the sender reputation of that one domain.
