Very helpful Manny - is it possible for you to send me a screenshot of what your spread sheet looks like? Obviously please do mask the numbers! I also understand if you’re not open to it, thanks for the tips :) Thanks @taylor, I’m going to be looking at your links now!
Hi @david.to I read this post and it says Shopify transactional emails cannot be muted if we are not on Shopify plus and that the most we can do is export template from Klaviyo and insert in Shopify so it looks better than Shopify stock template. Is this understanding correct? And in that case, will klaviyo get the data whether any trasactional email has gone to the customer or not? We ideally want to be able to go to a customer profile on klaviyo and see any emails that might have gone to them (by Klaviyo/Shopify/Recharge/Rise.ai/any other app) - is this possible?
Hi @stephen.trumble thanks for your reply. As suggested, I tried creating a flow with “ORDERED PRODUCT” and applied a filter for the specific SKU but email still did not get sent. Can you see if I’m doing something wrong? Here you can see the flow is LIVE. In fact I selected “TestSKU2” from the dropdown and did not even have to type it manually which means klaviyo is detecting the SKU directly from shopify. Here you can see my order and SKU = TestSKU2However, I still did not get the desired email.
Hi @david.to,Thanks for your suggestion on using the “replenishment flow” to achieve my request. However, when I try to create it I notice that not all my products are showing up in the drop down. Attaching screenshot of my Shopify product page & screenshot from Klaviyo. You can see Klaviyo is missing products: The learning kit for 3 Years 10 Months, 4 Years…..4 Years 10 Months. Additionally, we have many variants within ‘The Learning Kit Pay Per Kit’ product - they don’t show up in the klaviyo drop-down. How do I trigger emails specific to those variants?
Hi @Rishabh20, This could be due to a couple of things. First, double check that someone has filled out your form since you connected with Klaviyo. If no one has, try using a test email (firstname.lastname@example.org for example) to sign up via your form to see if you are added to Klaviyo. Klaviyo will not historically sync contacts automatically, though you can manually add them. If your Shopify theme is a third party theme, you will also need to tag the customers with “Newsletter” in order for them to sync to Klaviyo. You can read more about how to implement that here. Please let us know if you are still having difficulty passing profiles from Shopify into Klaviyo and we can continue investigating. Thanks Julia, you’re a star! turns out the culprit was the third party theme. resolved now.
Hi @Rishabh20, Thanks for reaching out to the Community today! This sounds like a solid strategy, and you can definitely use Klaviyo to execute it. To send an instant “Thanks for signing up” email, you’ll need to create a welcome series, which is triggered when someone joins the list that is connected to your signup form. It sounds like you want that list to be the same as your main newsletter list so you can send them monthly emails. If so, I recommend adding a trigger filter to your welcome series, and filtering by the $Source property to only send “Thanks for signing up” email to those that signup from that specific signup form source. Then on the day of the launch you can create a segment of profiles with that $Source property to include all the customers who filled out your form, and send them your launch day campaign. I hope that this helps, and let me know if you have any questions. Good luck with the launch! Super helpful Julia. However, I’m facing a level 1 issue i.e. sub
