How do I add header links to the welcome flow emails?

None of those options are showing up when I select the header bar. Why not? It’s just showing link “desktop layout”: Logo stacked, alt text and link address for the image….no option for any header links to my website. I have tried finding the option to header links in the welcome email and templates...but nothing. So where is it?Why is your app so terrible to use? It is not intuitive at all and the obvious features aren’t even showing. If I am already having problems trying to find basics like header links, then I fear it will be much worse and complicated trying to build out flows. It may be better if I try Omnisend, and they have much better reviews than Klaviyo.

On top of that, there is no support for newcomers...it just refers you to robotic articles that don’t answer the question.

Hi @Taylor Tarpley Thanks for your response. I would like to clarify some of your points and have some questions about something else too. For the customer vs non customer welcome flow, how can customers be fed into that flow? The pop-up forms (1st one and exit popup) are only set to show to non-subscribers. so I am confused how a customer would enter that flow. They are likely to already be subscribed into a customer list and thus circumventing the welcome series popup. So in what scenarios would a customer be added to a split welcome flow when that popup wouldn’t show up for them if they are already subscribed? What are some examples of segment conditions, could it be someone who abandoned a cart or browse from clicking on an email link to the product with a discount offer? Any other examples of segment conditions?  Is a win back flow something that only applies to previous customers who haven’t purchased for a while? And is a “Potential Purchaser” segment someone who abandoned a car

@Dov So you are saying that the flow is just a short term engagement with non purchasers?  I want an email series that is more medium to long term providing ongoing tips and promotion emails. So how can I achieve that just with a flow that only has around 4 or 5 emails?How many emails do you recommend having in the welcome flow?You say that they can be put into other flows but the only way that can happen is if they trigger the action to go into another flow. The only other non customer flows are abandoned cart or browsing and the rest seem to be for customers. So how do I stay in touch with non purchasers more medium/long term if they don’t get into those other 2 flows? Is it purely through campaign messages? How often should campaign messages be sent/once a week, more?Also, I am still not sure of the value of having a welcome series flow that splits into customer vs non customer. In future, customers are already likely to be subscribed in which case the welcome series popup offering

Logo not uploading properly into welcome series flow email

@david.to Thanks I have added the logo to the emails now using the text blockI am having problems creating the data feeds for the best sellers catalog on my site to populate the product blocks in emails. I have named the feed Best Sellers, clicked on “Limit to specific categories” > selected collection: best sellers from the drop down menu, Ordering > popular products first….and it is coming up with these errors in red. It says “Viewed product recommendations are currently unavailable. Install your web tracking snippet to configure. If you've installed that snippet recently, recommendations will become available as viewed product events are recorded”When I click on “Set Up Web Tracking” in settings, it says You have already allowed Klaviyo onsite JavaScript to be automatically added to your store via your integration. Add the code below to the product.liquid template. This will allow Klaviyo to track people’s favorite products. So is the onsite web tracking enabled on my site fro

@Dov thirdly, I am confused by the welcome email in that flow to a customer. The only way to trigger that flow at the moment is with the £50 discount pop up 2 seconds after they enter the site, and on the exit pop up if they haven’t already subscribed. How can an existing customer see that pop up if I am only targeting the pop ups for non existing subscribers? So how could a customer possibly trigger the welcome series (customer vs non customer) if the pop up wouldn’t show up for them in the first place? Is it if they haven’t somehow subscribed to any list at all despite being a customer? I find that highly unlikely. Ok let’s say that somehow they haven’t subscribed to any list despite being a customer (which I find hard to believe) and they receive that 1st welcome email from the £50 discount pop up, should I be sending them the discount code promised in that pop up? At the moment, the 1st welcome email to a customer in that flow is very vague, saying we’ll be sending more product pro

@Dov in addition, there are only 2 emails in the welcome flow series (customer vs non customer). How do I add a 3rd email into that flow?This is a very short flow so when that flow is complete, how do we stay in touch with them? Add more emails to that flow? put them into another flow?I want to stay in touch with non customers for as long as possible through promotions and product tips, and obviously want to maintain contact with customers.

@david.to and in the product block, when I click on “browse for products” it does not have the updated product feed for my site and the best sellers. Why is that and how do I get an updated product catalog integrated with the welcome flow?

Logo not uploading properly into welcome series flow email

@david.to when I click on the header section, there is a text link that says “shop now” which automatically appears, I did not put it there! When I delete that text link section the whole header section collapses into a black line and the logo disappears too.  Why is that, and why is there no option for the logo to appear on its own without any text links in the header?

@Dov so is it best to start with the customer vs non customer welcome flow first?I am not sure what the advantages are of just using the welcome flow which doesn’t distinguish between customers and non customers.

Campaign or Flow for optins on popup form on my website?

Hi @stephen.trumble That is a lot of info so I am taking it one step at a time. I started creating the signup form and I have already run into a problemIn the “guide to creating a signup form” the pop up is customised with that coffee bean image. It says to use a 600 x 500 image approx. So how do you add this image at the top of the form in the options? It does not explain this in the article!The only form edit options I see are form type, side image, form background and form styles. So WHERE is the option to upload a header image to the form? I had another problem with uploading my logo image to my welcome email as explained in this thread and I don’t have any responses on it yet. Could you also reply on this thread please?  Klaviyo is not user friendly at all for newcomers as it seems very difficult to perform simple tasks.

Do the sign up forms appear as pop ups to collect emails?

Perhaps I could have the 1st popup for the discount appear after 2 seconds, and the “3 tips for”..to appear after 10 seconds as you say, that way, I’m giving more opportunity to optin. The 1st discount popup would send the discount code in the 1st email and then linked to the newsletter tips/promotions emails, and the 2nd optin form is the newsletter, (ie 1st email are the 3 tips, second email could be the discount code….so it would be a case of switching the order of the first 2 emails around for each optin form.How do I implement that?

Thanks for the inputWhich flow do I use for the pop up for the discount, is it the “welcome series” flow? (with 1st email giving the discount code)It says the flow can be linked to the newsletter so I don’t need to create 2 different sign up forms as the subscribers to the pop up discount can be sent newsletter type emails afterwards. Is that correct? How and where is the pop up created and the settings for how soon after the 1st visit it shows up?
