Great discussion here, as always.@David To I’m working with a client who will use a strategy allowing Amazon customers to opt in via a QR code. Since these subscribers haven’t subscribed using the conventional opt-in form, I assume they will see our pop-up form even though they are already on the list.Is this correct?

Abandon cart flow filters

@Grego  I didn’t mean a time delay. What I meant was to make the discounts time-sensitive, so subscribers only have a limited amount of time to use them. But it seems like you’re doing this already.Also, it looks like you’ve removed those conditional split filters, good job 👍🏾.

Abandon cart flow filters

Hi @Grego I agree with @chelsgrove, also, she did say she normally waits at least 2 hours for the first email.Here’s my suggestion:I see you included additional conditional splits “Has Placed Order zero times over all time” in the first time buyer route and “Has Placed Order zero times since starting this flow” on the repeat buyer route. This is unnecessary because you already have “Placed Order zero times since starting this flow” as a flow filter for the flow overall. I’ve seen many people do this, but rest assured it’s only needed once at the very top.This is more subjective, but I’d recommend just sending an Abandoned Checkout reminder with no discount first. This is because you want to filter out prospects and customers who simply forgot to finish their order. and Make sure the 10% and 12% discounts are timed too like the 8% discount.

Why is Klaviyo finding fewer profiles in my segment?

Hi @Brett_Gatsby, I managed to figure out the issue. My client had two separate names for each of the quiz results, and I had only filtered one of them. I’ve now both of them filtered each quiz. Thanks for your help.

Why is Klaviyo finding fewer profiles in my segment?

Hi @Brett_Gatsby. No. My quiz has 4 different outcomes and I created a segment for each outcome, I’m not including subscribers who don’t fill out the quiz.

Abandoned Cart issue - {{ event.extra.responsive_checkout_url }} and {{ event.extra.checkout_url }} are not directing to checkout - they direct to the main website

I’ve bumped another thread like this, but I’ll bump this one too. I’m having the same problem even though when I go to Metrics > Checkout Started > Activity Feed and click on the timestamp of a recent Checkout Started event it shows the additional information about the checkout. Edit: I’ve previewed several profiles that have triggered the Checkout Started action recently as @Taylor Tarpley suggested in this thread, and it turns out that some profiles recover the cart, whilst others are redirected to the homepage. Could the occasions where the button redirects to the homepage be cases where customers have proceeded to place their order?

Why is my link for Abandoned Cart taking me to my homepage instead?

I was about to create a thread about the same problem, but I saw this one. Design Question: Split email color block

What I’ve noticed though, is that if you design an image on Canva and have that purple in the bottom (like in the example above, using the same colour in the text block will create a line. How do you avoid this?

Thanks for the reply Manny, you’re right, the design isn’t suited to mobile anyway, I have no idea why I didn’t think of this.As for the dropdown choices, yes there are only 3, but I prefer a dropdown over a radio box as it looks more consistent.What might you suggest as a good offer for luxury handbags? The client doesn’t want to give out offers.

How do I display price including VAT in my Abandoned Cart email?

This has probably been resolved for @SK789, but for anyone else reading trying to get the total including VAT (and shipping) in the Placed Order event, try this:{{ event|lookup:’$value’|floatformat:2 }}

Woocommerce Code Variables confusion

Thanks @alex.hong, I managed to figure this out earlier. The {{ event|lookup:’$value’ }} works!I was surprised that you currently cannot pull the Subtotal variable on WooCommerce, but another user found a workaround.

Woocommerce Code Variables confusion

I’m having a slightly different problem in the same area. I can pull most of the data that I need from the event “Placed Order” for my transactional email, but I can’t see total order anywhere in the preview.

How Do I Prevent Subscribers from Receiving multiple Coupons from Different Flows at the Same Time?

Thanks for replying @Taylor Tarpley. I will do what you said when I create my flows. I’ve also figured out that simply putting expiry dates on the discount codes will allow me to maneuver my coupons in a way so they conflict with each other. If I put a 48 hour time limit for the discount code in the Welcome Series Flow (discount is in email #5), then I can make sure the discounts in the other flows don’t show up for at least 48 hours, meaning when subscriber do eventually get the other discount codes, the Welcome Series Flow code would have expired by then.

Why isn't the full background image displaying in my block in my email template?

Thanks @Taylor Tarpley and @retention retention for your replies. @Taylor Tarpley I guess you’re right, it’s just that certain people deceived me on how it works. It’s manageable, but I thought there was a better way to do it. But at least you can do it now...that’s one way of looking at it.  @retention Retention, this seems like a good idea, I didn’t think of it. Will give this a try!
