Hey @Ben ,yes, I can confirm that @Omar is correct. Change your UTM settings so that medium equals email, and data should start flowing correctly.  With the mediums being campaign or flow, GA4 doesn’t know what those mediums are so wont attribute them to email. Alternatively, you could make a custom channel grouping in GA4 but much easier to just change the UTMs in Klaviyo.

Hey @bhumphr6 ,Can you talk a bit more about the use case here? What specific flows are you trying to set this up with?You can also look at various flow filters. I typically use flow filters that will exclude people from continuing on in the flow if they made a purchase since entering the flow (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment…).Let me know!

Emails being sent both from Shopify and Klaviyo

Hey @Penny Packer91 ,Great questions. Are you speaking specifically about the transactional emails coming from Shopify? Emails like order confirmations?I would suggest staying with Shopify emails until you decide to update for transactional emails. You can use Klaviyo for post purchase flows, review requests, abandoned carts, browse abandonments, and all of the marketing flows. I don’t believe transactional email metrics from Shopify are sent to Klaviyo. I would recommend keeping the two separate until you upgrade your Shopify account and can move them all over to Klaviyo.Hope that helps!

Is it possible to send the same email indefinitely?

@blissy I've set up a few flows as @In the Inbox suggested. I use these a lot for loyalty points reminders that go out every quarter. Each email is different, but they go out in essentially an endless loop. I also take advantage of custom properties and dynamic feeds to try and keep them looking fresh. The emails essentially reminder customers how many loyalty points they have.

Email subscription on Shopify

To add to what Taylor has said,Yes, Shopify Forms will send customer data over to Klaviyo. Shopify Forms create Shopify Customers, those Customers are sent to Klaviyo. However, if someone fills out the form, it doesn’t mean they have opted into marketing and are going to get your welcome flows. I definitely recommend using the Klaviyo embedded forms instead of Shopify forms for a variety of reasons. Easier to collect customer data, you can have different forms go to different Klaviyo lists, and you can add some logic to change the form pending who is viewing the page (ex: different forms based on locations).

Hey @blissy ,Can you help me understand the use case of this a bit more? Why would you be sending the same email every X days? I would think email performance would pretty drastically drop after a couple of cycles of this. Let me know what the use case is and hopefully the collective Klaviyo Community can come up with a good solution for it all!

Shopify Form data in Klaviyo

Hey @rohan12334 ,Great question. Are you using the native Shopify forms or a form builder from the App Store?When a person fills out a Shopify form, it creates a Customer Profile for them in Shopify. With the Klaviyo/Shopify integration, all of Shopify Customer Profiles are automatically synced over to Klaviyo. If they have opted into marketing, then they will go to the list selected in the Klaviyo/Shopify integration.I honestly don’t love using Shopify forms. I would recommend setting up a Klaviyo Embedded form instead. This way you can have a little more control over where the customer data goes and what is collected. You can collect custom properties, decide which list the forms go to, and even set up some logic to show different forms to different users pending on location or other factors.  I hope that helps!

How to delete supressed profiles from my Klaviyo Account

Hey @oliyoliko ,Welcome to the Klaviyo Community Forums! Just taking a step back and trying to get to the bigger issue here. Why are you trying to delete suppressed profiles? Suppressed profiles are not counted towards your billing level so deleting them wont change the cost of Klaviyo. Plus, surpassed profiles still collect data (purchase behavior, if they opened a previous email before they were surpassed, and so forth). I’m just trying to figure out the use case where you would need to delete them. Let me know!

How can I send users to my website with an attached static coupon to the URL?

Hey @emailchelsea123 ,As far as I know, there is not a way to automatically attached a gift card to a link. I think you would still want to provide the gift card number to customers incase they want to make a smaller purchase and still have a remaining balance on the card for a second purchase.  Gift card numbers are not the best to look at, but I still think it’s the best solution here unless you wanted to go the coupon route and assign the coupon to the specific user ($50 off their order).

Test Email - correct subject line. wrong body copy

@Jessica The Podcaster ,Ugh, this sounds frustrating. I've heard of this happening to a couple of other people in the past. I know when the email itself would go out, it would be correct. You can try putting yourself in your own list and sending the campaign to that list to see if it is rendering correctly. I would also reach out to support on this one for sure!

Building out templates on iPad

Whenever I travel or really just out of my office I also use an iPad. Would be great to have more functionality, but fully understand to get everything out of Klaviyo, you need to use a desktop.I typically leave my design work for the desktop and use my iPad to check in on campaign performance, build segmentation, or do anything else. I am able to send preview emails as well for testing and getting approvals of emails.

@OliviaS This doesn’t directly answer your question, but I always like hiding the “sold out” button so only the back in stock button shows. To me this looks a lot cleaner on product pages and gets a few more people to sign up.  You could go that route and see if it fixes your issue. You would just need to change the code a bit. Change the replace_anchor line from false to true (replace_anchor: true).

New Integration

Hey @PHuet,Great question. I’ve seen stuff like this happen for two reasons.Are you an admin of the ad account and FB page? And an admin through Business Manager?  When you accepted the FB authorization, did you make sure you granted Klaviyo permissions to your new pages? There is a great discussion a few years back that has screenshots and step by step instructions on how to troubleshoot this. You can find it here. It’s old, but all of those troubleshooting steps should be the same. Let me know if either of those steps work!

Klaviyo Email Campaigns not showing in GA4

Hey @tbarrett ,Can you send over a screenshot of what your UTM parameters are set for in Klaviyo? By default, Klaviyo  sets the UTM mediums as flows or campaigns. The problem is, GA4 doesn’t know what this medium means. Instead, I would have the UTMs set to something like this: Let me know if this solves the issue!edit: I had the wrong dynamic variable in the medium field in my original screenshot. I just updated it to reflect the correct one.

Setting up Klaviyo reviews for the first time : best strategy from 0

@Danielle N ,I would also recommend reaching out to all past purchasers and asking them for a review. For this to be most effective, I would incentivize the review request. For example, send out an email to everyone who has purchased in the last year (or longer). The email can say something along the lines of “leave us a positive review and you’ll get 20% off your next purchase.” For the first batch, you could even make it a larger discount, maybe matching your BFCM discount, to get a couple reviews on various products. Then you can lower the discount level for future review requests. In general, I typically match the discount level in my review request email to my welcome series. Meaning if I have a welcome series that offers 15% off the first purchase, the post-purchase/review email also offers 15% off. This simplifies things a lot.Hope that helps!

Abandoned Cart Flow not working

Makes sense @cityhonda ,If you go into each email, you should see “Subject & Sender” section, hit edit. Then you’ll see “Add CC” or “Add BCC”. You can click that and make sure your email is listed. I’m guessing this section is blank!

Shopify sign up form not syncing to Klaviyo Newsletter List

Hey @mamaslittlest ,Can you find the contacts in Klaviyo? And they are just not showing up in the Newsletter list? Or are they not showing up in Klaviyo in anyway? First thought was to check single vs double opt-ins. Second thing, I typically try and use Klaviyo forms over the shopify forms. I personally like Klaviyo forms better because you can show some more logic in there and even do multi-step signups too.

Abandoned Cart Flow not working

Hey @cityhonda ,This might be an easy one! Looking at the screenshot, all of the emails are set to draft. This means the emails are not sending. You can click on each email where it says “draft” and change it to “live” or you can hit the button in the upper right hand corner (not shown in your screenshot) that says to update the statuses in bulk. I forget the exact copy of that button, but hopefully you can find it!This is an interesting setup for an a banded cart flow, but it should work!

Hey @FilipFitoFito , How’s this coming along? Still having issues with the code automatically applying to checkout?The best way to test this is actually with a live send vs a preview or test send.
