Hey Filip, the code seems correct. Quick one, did you add the URL above to the URL part of the checkout button within your Klaviyo email template editor?editor. ​​​​​Try that to see if that's the problem. I'd like to know

Customer segment best practice

Hey @DRMax , thank you for sharing this with the Klaviyo community.To be honest, I believe “Fulfilled Order” is best practice if you want to include only subscribers who actually bought the product.Unlike a “Placed Order” which tracks when a product is first ordered, an order is marked “fulfilled” when it has been shipped already, so that automatically removes a cancelled order which you don’t want.To exclude anyone who refunded their order, just add a filter to the segment you already created about Fulfilled Order like this: I hope this helps.Best regards,Edgar.

Hey @meetapapersandgems , I’m so glad you found this very helpful. Yes, you are on the right track. You’d only have to input the property label In Flow you assigned at the beginning.You can now send your campaigns and exclude them from your mails.Take care.

Hi @meetapapersandgems , thank you for sharing with the community.The first thing you need to do is create a label for subscribers in the welcome email flow, and then you’d be able to exclude them from your campaigns.You are going to update the profile property of these customers.In your welcome email flow, drag the “Update Profile Property” block to the beginning of the flow before the first email. Select “Create New Property” as the property action .For the Property Label, input “In Flow” and for the Property Value, input “Welcome”. This is an example I created here for you;  Now, if in future you want to exclude subscribers in a particular flow, all you need to do is input the Flow’s title as the property value since you have already created the label here;At the end of your Welcome Email Flow, drag the “Update Profile Property” block again after the last email. Winback Flow Benchmarks

Hi Frank, thank you so much for your response.So with the trying to winback customers with an abandoned cart flow, I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say actually.I don't mean you should set up a separate or new abandoned cart flow. I mean add to it or modify!The one you currently have is excellent! Your third email has a 9% order rate, which is very good.It is quite similar to the idea you have of mailing subscribers who started check out short before the Winback flow starts but later than your normal abandoned cart flow (which you aren't sure might be long ago)That's also why you think a 4th or 5th mail might be send just to improve daily sales too.So let me paint a picture for you, clearly to convey what's in my head(haha!) Let's say you are subscribed to my email list, right.You attempted purchasing a product from my store but you abandoned your cart.​​​​Now I send the normal abandoned cart email you've set up (up to the third one which has a 9% placed order rate) but y

Hi @Alex_27 , Do you send the same campaign content to every subsciber that is engaged?If yes, then you need to split your emails to send only relevant campaigns.Expand your segmentation. You currently send only to 'highly' engaged contacts, but is it relevant to each person?Here's what you can do: Split your campaigns based on frequency of purchase.is the subsciber a first-timer or a second-time purchaser or repeat purchaser or VIP?Now, send campaigns to these segments separately. You can go further to split it by segementing based on previous purchase or how much a subscriber has spent with you. Also, how often do you send emails? Subscribers will feel bombarded with emails if become too frequented. Test on the number of emails to send weekly or monthly to see a threshold. Thirdly, what's the content of your email list?do you show too many items for customers to choose from? Does the CTA button lead to the designated place straight away such as their cart or checkout or product page?

Winback Flow Benchmarks

Hey Frank, I love the fact that you split the flows based on frequency of purchase or order count.Here’s a quick tip. (This is by the side). You should set up a Replenishment flow 2 weeks before a customers reaches their expected date of next order so that customers make orders more regularly for themselves. I don’t know what type of store you run but if it’s something like drinks or household item that requires restock often, this would help you increase the frequency of purchase and reduce the number of purchasers who are on the risk of needing a Winback.Also set up a Sunset Flow. This is for customers who stand the highest risk of churning eventually. Create a segment for subscribers who haven’t engaged with your brand (by that I mean opened your messages in a long while). Set the flow filter to remove anyone who opens or clicks an email while in the flow, since they’ve engaged already. Reinstate your unique selling point as a store and give them the option to either confirm they st

How to add client's purchase in a review flow?

Hi @toniaxu , the link is broken.Go to your account settings and remove the forward slash (/) in your website URL.Why?To make each of your subscriber get a unique email based on their purchase product (a dynamic content), Klaviyo fills in your website URL using {{ organization.url }} tag, without a forward slash(/) at then end.On the other hand, the url in your account settings has a forward slash (/) at the end so it doesn't actually reflect in there. ​​​​​​This should resolve the issue,Cheers,Edgar.

Hi Shannon, so I would assume the Flow you created for this is a Review/Cross-sell flow and not Post-purchase Flow. The reason I said that is that the trigger for Review/Cross-sell is ‘Fulfilled Order’, while that of Post-purchase is ‘Placed Order’. You can now edit this flow however you want to save time building your own from scratchWhat’s the difference?For your particular question, a ‘Fulfilled Order’ is when a product has been shipped already, it gives you a more accurate idea of when a customer received your product. A ‘Placed Order’ trigger starts immediately a customer placed an order which won’t do it here for you. It’s just a simple step. Just exclude people who have refunded their order within a certain period of time.You need to now set up Flow filters with these restrictions.“What Someone has done (or not done)>>Someone has refunded order>>Zero times» in the last (14)days.So here’s a quick example I drew up for you.Of course, I wouldn’t know your refund policy

(I saw this later). The best method to warm your account:So since you have no subscriber yet, you cannot segment based on the users who have opened/clicked your email in 30-60-90 days. So here's the best method I'd give: Warm the email account you are sending from for 2 weeks.If you have the funds you can use Email on Acid. It helps you test every single email design, subject line and preview text before you send it. If you don't have the budget, you can make use of Instantly.ai's warm up tool. Hi Vaughan, it's great that you have set these CORE email flows for their audience because it's very important to start with the most engaging emails for a new account. This is to build your sender's reputation and email deliverability score. You asked if the number of emails are long for a store. Let's look at them individually. -Welcome email: I'd suggest you should send a welcome email flow containing 4 individual emails. Why? Here's what your welcome emails sequence can look like: First email: Brand storySecond email: Social Proof/TestimonialThird email: Press featureFourth Email: "Follow us on Socials. Any subscriber who doesn't open or click-through to make a purchase in first email will be sent the second. How necessary is it to have double opt in enabled?

Hey Vaughan, the simple reason why Klaviyo advices on double opt-in is to lower the rate of your emails going to spam and increase email deliverability. It's just an extra step to confirm if a subscriber actually wants to receive emails from you. I run email marketing and to be honest, a large number of folks don't confirm the double opt-in  because they forget and it's a lot more tedious. So they end up not actually becoming subscribers. You should make it seamless so it's easy to sign up.  I personally wouldn't advice it. There are many other KEY ways you can prevent your emails from ending up in spam and increase the number of your emails that gets right into the inbox of your subscribers. For example, 1.) Warm your account if you just switched email providers or are using Klaviyo for the first time. Do this for 2 weeks. 2.) Send only KEY flows at first. They are the most engaging emails. KEY flows like welcome emails which has the highest open rates at about 80%, cart/browse/checko

How to set up thank you flow when exclusion of a specific product is required

Hi Kaykam, I totally understand what you are saying. What you need to do is to create a Segment for anyone who's purchased the free swatch.  Now in the conditional split "Has Placed Order equals 1 over all time" and the value is NO, add a trigger filter to exclude the segment you have just created above(whichf is anyone who's purchased a free Swatch). Then join the YES value of this trigger filter to the YES value of " Has Placed Order equals 1 over all time" Only the NO value (of Has Placed Order equals 1 over all time)  will now get the: Thank You Again Email. I hope this helps, actually. How do I stop someone from receiving an email in a flow if they have received a different email?

Hi Becky, I get that you don't want to bombard anyone who's abandoned their cart within 7 days from receiving a browse abandonment email if they abandon browsing a product win that same period. What you need to do:is create a segment for any subscriber who has abandoned their cart in the last 7 days. Now, in your browse abandonment flow, use a trigger filter to exclude them at the beginning of the Flow/Update profile property (has abandoned cart in the last 7days to No) ​​​​​​This will prevent them from actually getting the browse abandonment email.  If you want to exclude Do let me know if this works.
