Stop Flows from sending when product is Out Of Stock

Hello! Has anyone had success in pulling through stock levels/inventory through to Klaviyo from Big Commerce so we can exclude flow emails from sending out when products are out of stock?  This would be great for Abandoned Cart, Price Drop, etc. Potentially through custom API? Thanks heaps!

Editing a Flow whilst live, or clone and rebuild then switch?

HelloI’m planning to make some significant changes to a post purchase flow that I currently have live which will take some time to do.  Am I best cloning the existing / starting from scratch, or can I just set the existing one to Manual mode, make all the changes then update status to Live again?Appreciate any advice!  Thank you :-)

Inserting Past Profiles into a dynamic Flow.

Issue.  We had our ad agency change the wording of one of our items in Shopify without informing us, resulting in a flow trigger not firing and 53 of our prospects not entering a sales flow.I am trying to figure out how to get these past profiles into that flow.I have created a segment with the 53 profiles in it. Then I cloned the flow and attempted to have that segment go into the top of the flow, but for the life of me, I can't find a way/ trigger to initiate that action.Any advice welcome

Flow Filter not working - Person that purchased is getting emails for non purchasers

I recently set up a new coupon welcome flow that has a conditional split at the beginning. People that HAVEN'T purchased get a coupon code and some emails to drive the purchase. People that have purchased get a standard welcome email. However, someone that DID make a purchase after entering the flow is continuing to get the welcome flow. What is wrong with my setup that it isn’t removing people when they purchase mid flow? I was under the impressions these filters only need to be applied once and people will be removed when they meet the condition later.  Troubleshooting notes:I verified that the user used the same email to purchase and enter the listusers purchased at 2:53pm and received the next email in the flow at 6:56pm so there was plenty of time for them to be removed from the flow

What does it mean when a property is "set" or "not set"?

Hi, What does it mean when a profile property is “set” or “not set”? I’m understanding it to mean that there is something in that profile property for a specific profile, as opposed to the profile not having that property at all. Is my assumption correct? I’m asking because I’m setting up a conditional split in a flow to only allow profiles with a certain profile property to move to the “yes” side of the split. It doesn’t make a difference what the profile property is, just that it exists. Is the correct way to configure the split to select “Properties about someone”, “x profile property” is “set”? Thanks in advance!BB

Hi - klaviyo beginner here! I’m setting up an email capture pop up that offers a discount codeWhen I go to email subscriber list option it only offers me groups that I don’t want to target -  ie those who are already signed up to our newsletterWhat is the process to create a group that is for new visitors on our website, that I can then select as the group to receive this pop up? ThanksClara

Hello, We are hoping to pull out records who have redeemed a welcome unique coupon code from a flow. Is this possible or do we need to simply say purchased in a certain time frame? Thank you! Ericka

No buyers are entering the Review Flow

For an unknown reason buyers aren’t entering the flows to request reviews. Flows were set up long before the purchases and now we’re lost as to why emails aren’t going out. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hi Community.I want to create the Win-back flow in my Shopify store, sending 4 emails and with a 5-day dynamic coupon.My question is how to send the same dynamic coupon and without others being created, since through each email I want to remind you that you have fewer days left to use it and insert said dynamic coupon.Thanks.

Dynamic Custom Properties

Hi. I’m creating an Anniversary Flow and would like to use the below aspects within the email, using dynamic content.Month of Account Created (For example: You created your account in March 2022) Number of Orders (Show how many orders that they have placed on our website (Shopify))The data is there to be used but I’d like to create custom properties so that I can dynamically display this within the email. Does anyone have any advice on how to achieve this?

Exclude profile from all flows but not campaigns.

Hello, Is there a way to suppress profiles from all flows but not campaigns?  In other words, a customer has asked not to receive so many emails from us, so if we exclude them from flows, then they will only receive our campaigns which are more sporadic.  Is this possible? Thanks all!

Create segment based on custom events that is fired and custom event that is not fired

Hi, I have created 2 custom events that fires during my checkout funnel. One is “Started Checkout” and another one is “Placed Order”. I want to segment the customer based on these 2 custom events with condition, if the profile has recorded event “Started Checkout” but has not recorded custom event “Placed Order” on last 30 days. Below is the screenshot, I have setup for this segment but profile with custom event “Placed Order” is also included in the segment which is not correct.Any help on this is appriciated.Thank you

Image not displaying correctly

Help!I’ve created an email in a flow which has a split section in it that contains text on one side and an image on the other. When I send a test and view it on my Mac it looks fine but when I view the test on a PC laptop the image looks huge and the text is squished to the side. Any idea how I can fix this? I cant see anything in the settings. See attached image for what I’m meaning. Thanks!

Why can't I open Received Emails from profile pages anymore?

I remember it used to be possible to view an email a profile had received from the profile page by clicking the 3 “dots” next to the ‘Received email’ event in the event overview. Why has the feature been removed?

Flow Template Limited - Free Plan

Hi,I am trying to setup up a new Browse Abandonment Flow, but there is no template showing up in search or other.Actually all the available templates are quite limited from what I have seen in the past.Is there a reason why?I am using the Free Plan, and I am under the 250 contacts limit. Thanks.

How do I get all subscribers in one segment?

So, our situation is a little different than most. Our business hasn’t taken advantage of email marketing until recently. Upon signing up for Klaviyo, we had a list of about 40k emails that we brought over. We had recently installed a spin-the-wheel type pop up through an app via Shopify that got subscribers. We then replaced that with a pop-up through Klaviyo on our website for people to subscribe. Our integration is with Shopify. What we are having trouble with is that we are trying to have one segment that includes ALL of our subscribers and that is obviously continually updating as more people subscribe. We have tried to create campaigns that include everyone that has subscribed within the last 30 days/90 days/6mo/etc—but the system doesn't seem to pull those numbers accurately, because if we look at our metrics, we can see that over 300 people have subscribed in the last month—but our segment only shows about 100. We are having difficulty figuring out why it wont pull these number

Preview and Test

Hi, I'm trying to test an EDM I want to send out this afternoon. However it only sends to my email address in Yahoo, and not my work email address in Outlook. I can't also send it to my boss in Outlook to approve either and I'm not sure why.

Added-to-Cart product block not populating.

Hello everyone,I just want to ask what to do if my Abandoned Cart Added-to-Cart Trigger flow is not working properly. My added-to-cart dynamic block is not populating for one of my clients, but for other clients, it’s working perfectly fine.Here is the list of checks I already did:Checked my added-to-cart metric and it’s still tracking events. I tried to create a flow from Klaviyo’s default template Abandoned Cart (Added-to-Cart trigger), but that, too, is not populating. All of the flows with other event triggers, that has a dynamic block (Abandoned Cart Checkout Started Trigger Flow, Browse Abandonment, etc.) are all working fine.Thank you so much.

How do I use "Today's Date" in show/hide logic?

Hey there Klaviyo Community!  I’m trying to create show/hide logic for a conditional block - I want the block to show ONLY if a date attribute on a customer profile is less than today’s date.  This seems to work: person.DATE_ATTRIBUTE|default:'' < '2023-11-12' but I’ve tried replacing the date with ‘%today%’ and other variations, but cannot get it to work.

Variable syntax for number of orders placed

I’d like to use variable syntax in a flow email to communicate how many orders a customer has placed with us during a certain time period. (“Congratulations! You’ve placed X orders with us since DATE.”) I’m having a difficult time figuring out A) if this is possible; and B) which variables to use.Any ideas? Or if you know of another way to do this other than variable syntax, I’m all ears.

Trigger Emails with Google Sheets

Is it possible to integrate Google Sheets to trigger an email flow? In google, you have the headings of Name, Emails, these would change from working week to working week throughout the year but want to continue to send the same email.?
