Gift message to recipient

Hi,In the shopify cart page, we will allow the buyer to add a gift message and the recipient’s email address to the order.  I already know how to do this.Then we want to use Klaviyo’s Flow to send the gift message email to the recipient when the order status changes to “delivered” or “out for delivery”.I’d imagine this is possible maybe with the use of another app such as Mechanic app or something similar.  Can anyone advise?Thanks,David

Default sender email is not showing i.e. wrong email showing on emails to customers

I signed up for K the same day I signed up for Shopify not knowing about the limit of support for free accounts. It took me longer than 60 days to set up my shop, so I am now in the wilderness. My default sender email address is set as info@mycompany.com . However, emails are bouncing because the address is coming through as mycompany@mycompany.com which does not exist. What am I to do if the very basics don’t work. I am really fed up with the total lack of access to support. What is the point of the Rolls Royce of system if the ignition key doesn’t work?

We’re not an e-commerce company.We’re a service-based business that signs up riders and drivers which of course means we have a live database with account information.How can we get it so when a customer signs up they will be automatically added to Klaviyo and as they take actions their segment will be updated?

We’d like our events booking systems to talk with each other and integrate with Klaviyo. We use Red Balloon boking platform as well. Our aim to for klaviyo to send our booking confirmations once they have booked a time in.

How to exclude contacts if they are in one of several flows

I have a few different optin offers and each have their own nurture sequences of emails associated with them. When I send a campaign I want to exclude a person if they’re in any one of many nurture sequence flows. What’s the best way to accomplish this?

Flow filtering based on a custom property that may or may not exist

I’m defining a flow and using the flow filter as a way to limit people from getting a message later in the flow if certain conditions are met.  For example customer pauses their account they get added to the flow (which is a date based flow).  Then later they activate their account so I set a subscription_status custom prop to active.  Then I have a flow filter which says subscription_status doesn’t equal active.Some profiles won’t have this custom property set so my question, what happens to profiles that do not have this property set?

Is there any way to get metrics?

I closed my site recently and downgraded the Klaviyo account associated with it to a free account. I am job hunting and met with a recruiter this morning. Is there any way to get the metrics from my business, open rates, conversions, etc to put on a resume to aid in job hunting? I cannot contact Klaviyo directly with a free account.

If a dynamic coupon is used by the customer and then an email is sent with that same prefix, would a new coupon be created?

Hi again!I have a question regarding dynamic coupons on Klaviyo. The thing is that I want to send a reminder of my welcome discount, but in a different flow, i.e. browse abandonment.The situation is that I don't want to create new coupons, I just want to remind users who received it and haven't used it that they have the possibility to do so. I was trying to set the "has made zero purchases using discount code XXXX" filter, but according to what I researched in other posts here in the community this doesn't work, as Klaviyo can't tell if the dynamic coupon has been used or not.So, what I want to know is if Klaviyo considers as "expired" a coupon that was already used, since currently my welcome series codes have no expiration date. And then, if I were to send another email in a flow to people who had already used their coupon, Klaviyo would generate a new one for them, while those who haven't used it would still receive the same one? ...I'm not sure if there is a better solution to rem

Feature Request - Horizontal Border Bottom

Hello, In the Dynamic Table editor, within Table Setting → Cell Style there’s an option for a horizontal border, but there is no toggle for top border or bottom border. By default it hard-codes it as a top border, but our design uses a bottom border. I tried working around it with custom css and the static row option but neither were viable options. Thank you.

Differentiate the email sent based on the subscription order to a list

Hello, I’ve prepared a promotion campaign where the first 50 subscribers will receive a coupon code, the second 50 subscribers will receive a different coupon and the rest a different one. Is there any way to set this in an automated flow in Klaviyo?Maybe, a conditional formula in the template or a trigger within the flow? Thank you

How to create flow to update properties

I have an add to cart pop up ie when customers click on add to cart they are offered the opportunity to personalise their experience. I get the hidden properties of the product they added to cart to trigger the pop up. Question is how ccan get this field value into our custom property field for Brand? I will also need to be able to trim the field ie to remove product model number so that only Brand name enters the custom property... Thanks

What is the best way to insert/update a custom property in all profiles of an account using rest api?

Hi,I would like to insert/update a custom property in all profiles of an account using rest api?I have not found an API for massive insert/update. Is there something I am missing?Right now the only way to do it seems to me is to create a list with all profiles, cycle through it, extract the profile id and update each individual profile. I hope there is something more efficient. Thanks

Catalog Item Unavailable

Hello!I'm creating a company and I want to send an email to a previously created list of people (2 people whose emails are exactly correct), but after I click "send now" in the Recipients Skipped line, I see that Catalog Item Unavailable displays 2 of these emails.Why might they not be available and how can I fix it?

Fill email field with emailadress from URL query parameter

So I have published a signup form on a landing page on our website. We want to use this signup form to collect user data like first name, date of birth etc. I don't want the customers to need to fill in their e-mailadress. It should be prefilled since we already know what the e-mailadress is. We will link to this page from a welcome e-mail, which will have the e-mailadress in the URL www.example.com/newsletter-data?email=xxx@xxx.nl Now I have already built this part with JavaScript and I can see that the e-mailadress is added the the Klaviyo form from the URL. However after like 1 second it is removed again (I guess by Klaviyo itself). So you can see it being added and then with a flicker it dissapears again. Does anybody know how I fix this? Or is there a different way to accomplish this? (withou Klaviyo custom hosted pages) Thanks in advance!

Embedding Product Query Form on Product Pages

Hi,On Shopify, I’m looking to see if there’s a way to embed a form that appears below the product images on a product page that will do the following:Customers will input their email address and phone number, and their enquiry on the product This will then send an email to our inbox that includes their query, and the product from which they submitted the enquiry The email address & number provided will also be added to our newsletter campaign listUltimately we’re looking for a way to collect customer data and provide any support on certain products in a way that stops the customer from navigating away from the product page (rather than clicking on the “Contact Us” page). Is this possible and can someone please advise on the best way to go about this? Is there a third party app that we could use that would be able to link in with Klaviyo in order to have the details on our newsletter campaign? Thank you!

Merging invalid emails with their first profile

Hello! We’ve noticed recently that we have a lot of emails that are invalid due to, mostly, misspelling. I’ve checked aprox 10 profiles and 8 out of them had already a valid account. I have already merged them (https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005073847-How-to-delete-merge-and-export-a-profile#merge-2-profiles3), but i don’t want to do this manually with +200 profiles.  I also know that enabling the double opt-in will reduce the number of invalid emails, but since the A/B testing showed up that a larger percentage of the subscribes uses the coupon when we show it on the form, this does not matter.  So I have two questions: For the first one i want to confirm why the form (currently set to not appear to already existing klaviyo profiles) actually does appear to people that have a profile. Is this because they are using a different platform (like if they registered on their work computer and are now checking the website from their phone)? And the second and important one: Is

Sending Email from Profile Fail

Hi allI have just tried to send an email to a singular person who is on a Klaviyo list, using the Messages button found in their profile.The message sent successfully, but never arrived at it’s destination?I tried to send a different email to my private email to test it out. (I have a profile in the list for this very reason). Same result. The Email sends, I can see in the profile that it sent, but it does not end up in the inbox or spam or junk folder of the recipient.I have successfully sent out 3 different campaigns without issue. Re-Authenticate Facebook Integration

Hello! I have a question about the Re-Authentication with Facebook Integration. Since our credentials have expired I know we must continue with the Re-Authentication by login in again into the Facebook account tied to the Facebook business account needed.My question is, will it be necessary to complete all the steps as if it was the first time making the integration? Selecting a Klaviyo List and then a Facebook Lead Ad … or will I be able to skip those steps since the integration was already enabled?  I hope you can help me, thanks!

"name" filter on get metrics not working

Order confirmation email - Dynamic table is showing wrong total for line items with quantity more than 1

Hello! I am having an issue with my Order Confirmation email: line item totals displaying properly when the quantity is more than 1. I am editing a Klaviyo template for Shopify export. The correct Subtotal is displaying in the static row below, accounting for the quantities. The issue is only with the line item total in the table. The line items are currently set up like this: This is how the emails are displaying to customers: The price of the chair is $2,750.00 each, so the total for that line item with quantity of 2 should be $5,500.00Further, I would like the total per line item to display the discounted total (for items with applied discounts only) next to the correct total, like this: Total: $5,500 $0.00 (the total is showing $0.00 because I applied a 100% coupon as a test, but in the event of a 10% off coupon, it should read: $5,500 $4,950.00I would appreciate help with this.  Thank you,Adam

Zapier Custom Properties Error

Hi everyone,I am trying to create a new custom property in Klaviyo as soon as a person realize an action on my website. It worked with one flow that I created but doesn’t work for another one.For the second one, I want a new custom property to be created from a new video watched on the website. However, the update happens but the property is not created.The main difference between is that the first custom property is created the moment my customer subscribe. The second one is linked to the update of the customer, meaning that if he acts on the website we update the profile and a new custom property is created.Can you tell me what could be the issue here ?Thanks for your help.
