Why does Google never show email conversions with Klaviyo?

Hi There,For November 2023, Klaviyo attributes $86k to flows and campaigns but GA attributes $0 to email.I’ve read some help articles which talk about clipped emails and tracking differences resulting discrepancies but this is much more than a discrepancy - right?All our campaigns and flows have utm tracking on and we couldn’t find a GA integration so assume we use utm parameters but no joy.Our experience with other platforms is that it all just works so are confused what the issue is.Any help much appreciated.Cheers, Ben

Emails being sent both from Shopify and Klaviyo

So apparently you cannot turn off email notifications in Shopify with the basic plan, so Shopify is sending duplicate emails as I have set up emails with triggers on Klaviyo. I want to maintain my brand structured emails, so I only want to use Klaviyo.So I have figured a run around by using ‘smart sending’ so the emails are not being sent twice. And I have copy and pasted the HTML template from Klaviyo into the Shopify emails to maintain my branded emails. So my question is, if emails continue to send through Shopify, do all the trigger and conditional splits still operate through Klaviyo, and am I still able to view the analytics through Klaviyo if emails are being sent through the Shopify platform?

Why can't I crop images?

I can't really show screenshot right now but I will explain to my best ability. I am uploading some email templates on Klaviyo (mostly image-based) which means I have to be cropping and cropping so I can link sections that have to be linked and it has been going smoothly as I have already uploaded about 17 emails already. Now suddenly, when I click on "crop" in the image editor on Klaviyo, it doesn't bring the height and width number adjuster (this is what allows me to select the height of my new cropping) It just gives me certain frames to choose from like 1:1, 16:9, 10:8 I can't adjust the way I want. What kind of bug is this? This has happened before but I just found my way to edit outside of Klaviyo but I can't do that now. Can you fix this?

are browsers, who subscribe on my shopify form, automatically added to klaviyo? I want subscribers to receive  discount so have created and embedded form. I want this throughout the site. How do i do this?

Huge discrepancy, between Universal Analytics - G4 and Klaviyo.

I have a huge discrepancy, between Universal Analytics - G4 and Klaviyo. I have read all the posts related to this in the community, but I can't find any where this huge discrepancy is presented. I understand that Klaivyo and Google Analytics have different attribution models, I also understand that Klaviyo in its total revenue, does not take canceled or refunded orders. I have the UTM activated so that they do tracking, and still it is nothing like that. In my Klaviyo Dashboard, for example, it says that we have sold: 16,754,547 CLP only in FLOWS, while in G4 it says that we have only sold 704,000 CLP of FLOWS. Yesterday I spoke with Klaviyo's support because the difference is too abysmal and they told me “yes this is because the different attribution models”.I have several questions regarding this:1) If Klaviyo is actually selling more than 30% of the total revenue in my particular case (counting canceled orders and refunded orders), and in google analytics it tells me that Klaviyo i

Setting up Klaviyo reviews for the first time : best strategy from 0

I am going to add Klaviyo reviews to my Shopify website. This is the first time that we are adding this feature. But I don´t want to launch and have 0 reviews. What strategy do you recommend?Can we ask for reviews before we add the widget to the Shopify product page? What has been successful for you? All tips appreciated!

Abandoned Cart Flow not working

Hi, Our abandoned cart flow was set up by an outside developer at the time, however I am not sure it is working correctly. We are supposed to get notifications for high level carts but have never received these? Example below of our current flow set up for Placed order - no  Any help would be appreciated to get this working efficiently

Dynamic checkout code (auto-apply) not working

Hey, I wanted to set up my dynamic checkout code - which is not working, this is my code:{{ event.extra.checkout_url }}&discount={% coupon_code 'WARENKORB10' %}When I do the “send test” it works, but when I try it on another device with another email it just takes me on the homepage and does not add the discount.In theory this should work. (I tried replacing & with ? also).I set up discounts correctly. As by guide in klaviyo etc. Any tips how to solve this? Filip

GA4 Source/medium discrepancy and UTM Param Set-up Confusion

Hi, I’d opened this topic on GA forum but hadn’t got any responses. First, I will share what I wrote on this topic. We have an issue with the data coming from Klaviyo. I will try to demonstrate with some screenshots. I can assure you that all the UTMs on Klaviyo correctly working. We have some campaigns have been sent as well as automated flows sending regularly. Though I am able to review campaigns on GA, I cannot see the orders/revenue coming from flows. Plus, it shows the source as "Unassigned". When the revenue comes from Flows it was showing the source as "Direct". However, I resolved this since the problem based on the url ending with "/" slash. Now, this one is fixed but we just got an order from the flow but it shows source/medium as Klaviyo / campaing. It needs to be klaviyo / flow. Also, the rest of the problems still going on.     And then I will explain what I go through currently.  I’ve just changed the default UTM’s by referring to these 2 topics. You can see the default

Auto Send Location Data To Klaviyo

We have 4 brick and mortar locations.  Is there any way to automatically add people to each list that corresponds to each location?   We are using shopify.  I have tried Flow to tag customers automatically and Klaviyo pick up the data, that didn’t work all the time.   Apart from that all I have been doing is downloading each list every now and then and uploading them to Klaviyo.  But, downloading the data from Shopify is a very slow process.   Thanks

Pull dynamic coupon code from customer

Hey team! I have a signup from which presents the user with a dynamic $20 off coupon code within the success screen. I have created an email flow within the signup form that reminds the user to use their coupon code. I was wondering if it is possible to pull the coupon that has been given to the customer and include it in the follow up email. I can see that the coupon is showing in the customers active coupon section under my static coupon title. Thank guys :)

Opt-in form sends confirmation

hi,I’m currently testing my opt-in form and made a flow focused on the customers collected in this form but my email made in my flow doesn’t send. instead of that mail it keeps sending a confirmation mail asking if they’re sure they want to subsribe. can somebody help me?

Set up A/B test campaigns

I am trying to set up a series of campaigns where I’ll be running a split a/b test. For example Day 1 campaign on October 2 with audiences A and B, Day 2 on October 4 with audiences A and B, Day 3 on October 6 with audience A and B and Day 4 on October 8 with audience A and B.When I am setting up in campaign, I can only see an option to send a split test that is random, even on days 2-4. I want to set it up so that the first send is 50/50 random, but then for each additional day send, whoever got version A will also get version A for subsequent sends, and whoever got version B will get version B over subsequent sends.Then if there’s new people added to the segment, they would be split 50/50 over each subsequent version. How do I go about doing this?

Shopify Abandon Cart

Hello! I’ve been reading quite a bit about Shopify vs Klaviyo’s Abandon Cart. To clarify, this is not Abandon Checkout, but using the Abandon Cart as the trigger.What’s the core difference between using Shopify’s or Klaviyo’s Abandon Cart other than Klaviyo’s more customizable designs?For example, in Shopify’s Abandon Cart, does the customer need to have subscribed to emails or does this get triggered if the customer inputs their email on the checkout page (not subscribed), but has not continued onto shipping?Thanks!

Facebook Lead Ad Custom Questions map to Custom Tags

I’ve just started using Facebook Lead Ads integration with Klaviyo.My Form contains the following Custom Question:What year do you expect to apply to medical school.2023 2024 2025Is there a way to map these answers to a custom tag I have `Application Year` on the synced list. As of right now, the lists only synchronise the name provided and the email. Does this require a Zapier (is there even a workaround at the moment).

AB testing my popup but I would like to make sure about something

I am testing the subscriber pop up for five seconds and 10 seconds. And I just realize that previously, I had not selected the option where it would not show existing subscribers. So in the green highlighted box, I chose to exclude showing it to people who are already in the main list. Is this correct? Finally is the rest of the set up of the pop up looking, correct?

Link for the re-buy email doesn't work

How do I prevent customers from abusing the sign-up form?

Hi,I found a very similar thread dated from last year on this issue, which was given a great response.I am still not able to understand how to deal with customers who add random characters to their email address (Which gets accepted on the sign-up form as a new email) but gets directed to the recipients original email. (Gmail lets users do this).Is there a way for me to avoid customers abusing this?
