Smart Send Time Scheduling

Smart sent time scheduling NEVER appears to work for me. I select the day and select to use the focused time to send.   But then after it is done scheduling, the day and time are COMPLETELY different. I specifically asked for the 13th. NOT the 12th. I already have an email going out on the 12th. I end up having to wait to schedule my email until the day I want it to send, which completely defeats the purpose of scheduling emails in advance.  Any idea why it does this??

Does anyone know how to distinguish preview emails after they are sent?

We have some links that send events back to Klaviyo that trigger new emails to be sent. When we send a preview email through klaviyo, the placeholders and filled in and the links are technically live meaning if someone accidentally clicked a link in a preview email, it would have consequences for the real person who’s test event was used to send the preview. Is there a way to distinguish whether an email was sent as a preview or to a real person as part of a flow/campaign so that we can disable the links for the previews but have them live in the real emails? Any placeholders that are replaced differently etc?

Self select segment based on pucrhase

We’re a Shopify store that has two broad buyer types:Self User (of the product) Gift BuyerI want to segment each buyer type at the point of purchase with a view to adding them to relevant flows, campaigns etc.NB: I can’t segment buyers based on what products (eg gift v non gift) they buy as our products aren’t differeniated like that ie ‘Gift A’ can be bought by a self user or a gift buyer.My idea was to ask them to self select on post purchase.Is this the right approach? If so how would that work?Any other ideas?Thanks

Segmentation-sending to an entire list

Hi!I’m used to lighting up my whole list on fire with a killer offer.But now that I’ve read some klaviyo articles on batch-sending and how it’s a thing of the past, I might have overdone it… 😏I’ve sent the same, slightly altered, email to 4 different segments and I don’t really know who I missed on the list (it was a 2+1 sale so I guessed the entire list would want to know about it),also, have I accidentally sent the slightly altered email to the same profiles (there was +1h time difference in send time)?Could anyone link me up or otherwise explain what’s the logic behind segmentations [especially when one wants to send it to the full list]?I know its goal is to increase open, click and lastly conversion rate - for me this works well in theory, in practice I’m lost.  Thanks, Jože

Finding Common Attributes Between Profiles That Converted

Hi,I’d like to analyse my previous campaigns and see what attributes/properties the profiles that converted (and also those that didn’t convert) have in common, so that I can create better segments for my future campaigns. PopUp Form doesn't display

I have set up a subscription form using a popup form. I have configured it to show to all users who are not on my list (new subscribers), and to appear when the user scrolls to 40% of the page.I have also set it to only display on pages containing a certain string.However, this doesn't work, the popup never appears.Do I have to configure something special to make it appear?

My email list is full of spam and invalid emails, how can I stop this?

Every time I go into Klaviyo to write our monthly customer newsletter, there are a load of clearly fake looking email sign ups in our email list. Usually I manually delete between 5 and 20 every couple of weeks but today I went in and our list has gone up from about 100 legitimate subscribers to 640 people. When I look at individual records, it’s pretty clear that they’re not real people engaging with our site or content.Obviously I don’t want to email over 500 spam accounts when I send our next newsletter but I also don’t want to delete the whole lot and risk deleting the occasional legitimate sign up.We have two-factor authentification switched on. Why is this happening?Why doesn’t Klaviyo filter these dodgy email addresses out?How can I verify if they’re legitimate or not?Thanks

Removing a Suspicious Email from a Free Account

Hello,I am currently on a free version of Klaviyo, and it has been 60 days since the account was created. I noticed that some emails are being skipped due to the recipient email being marked as suspicious. I wanted to send out a quick screenshot proving that the recipient's email should not be marked as suspicious. I read a help article that states that I would need to upgrade to a paid account to access Email Support, and the AI Virtual Assistant continues to tell me to message Email Support to have this issue resolved.Is it true that the only way to get support to remove a suspicious email would be to upgrade to a paid plan? If so, there is no option to upgrade my Support plan in Klaviyo. The only option available is the free standard support plan, which has already expired.

Custom code for calculated discount in abandoned cart mail flow

why can i still see my klaviyo flow on my website after deleting the flow from klaviyo

I wanted to delete one of my flows from my Shopify website since it was causing inconvenience for my customers. But even though I deleted the flow on Klaviyo 12 hours ago, it's still visible on my website. Why is this happening, and how can I completely remove it from my Shopify website? Even though I deleted it from Klaviyo, it's still visible on my Shopify site.

Custom product properties not shown in email

We have an custom input field for a custom engraving for two of our products where the users can enter an engraving they want to have on their product. I added this field by myself and it is shown at the checkout and in my shopify “orders-tab” etc. but not in an “abandoned cart-email”.The email is sent automatically with a Klaviyo flow and features the products in an abandoned cart. The problem is that the custom engraving, i mentioned earlier, isn’t shown on the emails. It also seems like this custom property isn’t even passed to the event properties, since i can’t find it there too.So my question is: How can i get the “abandonned cart email” sent by a klaviyo flow to show my custom properties too?Many thanks upfront!!

Revenue Attribution to Emails

Hi there, I basically two questions, would be great if you can share your input.I recently sent an email campaign, I could see the analytics on how it performed, it’s performance was by far the lowest.Now, when I looked at a few profiles there were two cases:Some customers received the email, didn’t open it and placed order. Does this placed order value reflect in my campaign analytics?Second, a customer received my email, opened it, didn’t order anything, he was then targeted by my active on site flow email, he opened it and placed order. Now, is this placed order value attributed to my campaign email or my flow email or both?

Hi Folks,New here and would really appreciate some advice on how to best track Memberships in Klaviyo.I'm trying to track club memberships for both adult and kids categories. I use GoCardless for payments, and I want to distinguish between those on a free trial, active paying members, and inactive members.When exploring my options, I initially created tag groups but then quickly realised it doesn’t appear you can apply tags to profiles and only lists, segments or campaigns.So instead of tags, I'm exploring the use of perhaps custom properties.The workflow is this..Free Trial - Person signs up via form for free trial to gym / club and gets added to a List.Active Member - Person signs up GoCardless form, I use Zapier to add them to a List.Inactive Member - Person cancels GoCardless, I use Zapier to tag them.So, now using Klaviyo, any advice or tips on setting this up would be greatly appreciated! Not 100% sure if using custom properties will be the best solution or if I should have diffe

Preview email in browser - Getting placeholder

Hello,Just wondering if anyone has worked out how to get a test email to appear in browser. We have a email in browser button but when I click it, i get taken through to a placeholder text box and not the email. Which is very frustrating as internally we need to proof these emails so normally send a link to the browser email. ThanksLizzi :)

Custom Shopify URL

{{ event.extra.order_status_url|default:'' }} Variable brings up a URL that has the format  2002faq.myshopify.com. What do I need to do to get that URL to show the proper store name line store.bmw2002faq.com.  I already have this set in the Settings → Organization → Website URL Thank you,Steve

Static or dynamic?

Hi community! I am wondering if there is possible to build a static coupon code inside of Klaviyo? OR even better, to toggle on that all the possible dynamic codes made from klaviyo are able to be combined with other discounts. The thing is that all my products are in bundles and this makes it impossible for me to toggle on all different dynamic codes for each customer. I have lost some customers on this since they can’t use the coupon code in the checkout because of this. So why I ask for static codes inside Klaviyo is because you can set an expiration of x amount of days and this is not possible with the static coupons made inside of shopify. Thanks in advance and I wish you the best day!/Saman

Validation email not triggering

Hello! I have password page activated in my Prestige Shopify theme so users can leave their email adress in order to get access. The question is that I have that field connected to my klaviyo newsletter. Also in Klaviyo, within my audience settings "Newsletter" I have configured the sending of a validation email that should reach all new subscribers to my newsletter, but that email is not arriving. Could someone give me a cable?Thank you very much!

Hi Klaviyo Community!I am reaching out today to find out if it is possible to trigger a flow based on what URL customers have been active on.I want to trigger a flow with one plain text email everytime customers goes to the FAQ page and then split the flow based on non buyers, checkout started and repeated buyers (segments that I have)This flow would be simple check up with the customers to provide additional customer service. Monthly Newsletter Email

I want to set up our monthly newsletter. I want this newsletter to be different each month and I'd like to schedule it to go out on a specific day each month. I want our 3 Welcome Series email to trigger this monthly newsletter. Our welcome series is currently set up to send over a 7 day time frame. After they receive the 3rd email, I'd like the following email that they receive to be the first email in our monthly newsletter. I have the flow set up to update the profile property if they've completed the flow and this is where I'm stuck. What is the best flow/trigger for this monthly newsletter?

Automate subscription status

I have customers completing a typeform form - in this form one of the questions is do you consent to signing up to our emails - how can I create a process whereby these customers have their subscription status updated to subscribe them? I am aware  at the moment I can still email these customers even though their subscription status is “never subscribed” And by manually adding them to a list - I can tick the box to change their subscription status - however I am looking for an automated process  Thanks
