Can I copy over a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another Klaviyo account?

Yes! There is a two-step prcoess to copy a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another. These steps include:Save the campaign as a template Copy the template from one account to anotherTo save the campaign as a template, follow the instructions discussed in this Community post.To copy the template over to another account, navigate to the Email Templates tab and click the Edit dropdown to the right of the template you want to copy over. Next, click Clone.A modal will appear prompting you to optionally rename the cloned template and select the destination account. This is the account where the new template will be copied to. Then click Clone Template.Changes made to the original email template will not be reflected in the copied template. For more details head to the instructions in the article Copy Flows and Templates Between Klaviyo Accounts. Can I integrate more than one store with one Klaviyo account?

Klaviyo currently supports only one integration of any type within a single Klaviyo account.If you have more than one ecommerce store of the same type, you will need to create a Klaviyo account for each store. If you have more than one store, and each is supported by a different platform, it is technically possible to integrate all stores with the same Klaviyo account. However, we highly recommend against this option in order to streamline data analysis and prevent confusion amongst metrics with flows and segments. We don’t provide a way to separate stores within a single Klaviyo account.For more information on the multi-account setup that we recommend, head to this Community conversation on the topic or the Multi-Account User Privileges article.If you are using Magento, it’s possible to integrate a Magento server that has multiple stores on it. How can I add an embedded form to a page on my Shopify Store?

To add a Klaviyo embedded form to your Shopify website, head to your store’s Pages (e.g., YOUR-STORE.myshopify.com/admin/pages). Then, select the page where you want the form to live or click Add page to create a new page.Click into the source (< >) for this page. Copy and paste the embedded signup form code into the source. What are the different Client Types in the Analytics Dashboard?

Client Types are classifications that define the channel through which customers reach your site. A Client Type is different from Client Name, which is the exact browser a profile used (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).In the Analytics Dashboard, you can choose to produce cards that sort customer data by Client Type to monitor this over time. These client types are defined as:Browser Browser refers to individuals who open your email in a web browser tab. Mobile Browser Mobile Browser details the amount of users who open your email in a mobile browser. Other Other refers to those who open your email via embedded browsers in obscure mobile & desktop apps. None None means that these users cannot be identified. Email Client Email Client refers to profiles that open an email using an email app, such as Outlook. Library Library refers to those who open your email using “headless browsers,” i.e. browsers without a UI, or request-generating libraries used by backend servers.

What's the best image resolution for my email?

While Klaviyo allows you to add up to 5MB per image, 1MB should work fine and is best practice. You want to think about load time, especially for mobile recipients who are not on WiFi or those without a fast internet connection.PNG files will typically render the best, but we also accept JPEG, JPG, and GIF file types.For image resolution, we recommend 72dpi as that's the standard for web.For the image size, the height or width should be no more than 2000px. Anything larger could also potentially cause load time issues. If your image is more than 2000px in height, slice it into multiple sections so that it takes less time to load.

On mobile, emails show 3 products stacked vertically. Is there any way to make it side by side (horizontal) on mobile?

To ensure that products won't stack on mobile, you will need to disable mobile optimizations. To do that, navigate into the template you wish to edit and head to the Styles tab. In the Mobile section select No next to Enable Optimization.For more information, check out our help article on Optimizing Your Emails for Mobile.

Why is my template not responsive to my mobile preview?

Head to the Styles table in the template editor. If there is a box called Auto-restrict blocks, check that box, select Save, and refresh the template.The setting should now disappear and the template should be responsive to your mobile preview.

Feature Updates: Self-Serve Single Opt-In and SMS Flows in the Flow LibraryProduct Update

Hi Klaviyo Community,I’m Ashley from the Academy Team, and I’m excited to share two new feature updates! Both are big improvements to our existing functionality and will likely solve some pain-points that you may have previously faced.First off, any account can now enable single opt-in for a given list. Single opt-in allows customers to subscribe to a list without confirming their subscription via email or SMS. That said, double opt-in is still the default and highly recommended in order to maintain good deliverability. If you have a use-case that necessitates single opt-in, you can toggle on this setting by, first, navigating to the specific list. Offer tiered incentivesTiered incentives encourage customers to spend more at a higher discount. How can I export my customers and know what lists they are a part of?

The easiest way to accomplish this is to use the update profile property action functionality using a flow. To start, create a flow triggered by someone being added to each list in your account. Once you have created the flow trigger, add in an Updated Profile Property action. You can create a profile property called List Membership and then assign a value of the list name.For more information on how to do this, head to this article on the Update Profile Property action.Your next step is to back-populate the flow. Choose the second option to schedule emails relative to when I hit the back-populate button. As long as you only add the update profile property action to your flow, no messages will send out because your flow does not contain any emails or SMS. Instead, this will send all of the customers in your list through the flow to add the custom property to their user profiles in Klaviyo.You then have two options to export these profiles and know what list they are a part of: You can

Lists versus segments: what's the difference?

A list is a static collection of people’s email addresses and/or phone numbers grouped under an identifiable label. They contain anyone who has subscribed to the list and will only grow or shrink as people either subscribe or unsubscribe. As a general best practice, we recommend having a single main list that contains all of your active profiles who consented to receive marketing from your brand.Meanwhile, segments are defined by a set of conditions rather than a fixed list of people. A segment will grow as new people meet the conditions and shrink as people no longer meet them, updating automatically and in-real time.For more details, head to our article, The Difference Between Lists and Segments. You can use segments to level up your campaign strategy, trigger flows, target forms, sync with social media, or analyze your marketing performance. How can I export the full HTML of one of my email templates?

If you haven't already, save your message as a template.Once you've saved your template, navigate to Email Templates from your main dashboard. Once there, select the Edit dropdown menu for the template you saved and select Export.A pop-up window will appear where you can copy the full HTML of your template.For more detailed instructions, head to Export the HTML for an Email Template.

Can I save campaign and flow messages as templates?

Yes, you can save any campaign or flow message as a template! For a campaign:From the Campaigns tab navigate into the campaign you want to save as a template. If it's not an A/B test, click on the three dots on the far right side of the row of the campaign. Click the option that says Add to Email Templates. However, if the campaign was an A/B test, you will need to clone the campaign, edit the variation you want to save, and click on the edit drop-down to find the Save as template button.For a flow:In the Flows tab, navigate to the specific flow message you want to save. Then, click Edit to go to the template preview. Here, click on the edit drop-down and select Save as template.

What is the difference between the browse abandonment, Added to Cart-triggered abandoned cart, and Started Checkout-triggered abandoned cart flows?

The browse abandonment flow captures tracked Klaviyo profiles that have viewed a product but not started a checkout or placed an order.The Added to Cart-triggered abandoned cart flow is intended to notify tracked Klaviyo profiles that added an item to their cart, but did not trigger a checkout or place their order.The Started Checkout-triggered abandoned cart flow captures tracked and non-tracked customers who have entered their email at the first step of checkout.Each flow targets a different step in the purchasing process and all flows should be set to skip profiles that have either started a checkout or placed an order since starting the flow.
