Hi Klaviyo community!
The fastest way to setup a Failed Payment metric inside of Shopify to push events to klaviyo is by the following route.
- Download Shopify Flow as an app in your Shopify dashboard.
- Create an automation, which triggers, when a transaction have been created.
- Setup a condition, so the automations runs, when the status equals failure.
- Click “Action” and track an event to Klaviyo, which make a post request to push an event to Klaviyo.
- Include your public API-key, the name of the metric “Failed Payment”. Include the customers e-mail address, the first name, the last name, the order ID as an event property, to be included into the activity details of the metric.
