I don’t love the way Klaviyo adds everything from a form to the profile (as custom properties). If I want to do a survey — it seems like I shouldn’t use Klaviyo. Do folks have experience pre-populating a user’s email address (from Klaviyo) into the email field in something like an embedded Google Form, or SquareSpace Form, or another tool?
Hi, I’m having some challenges with email sign-ups to my default Shopify footer sign up not being added to my On-site Newsletter Sign Up list. I’ve ensured that both double-opt in (Shopify and Klaviyo) have been turned off. When I sign up with a test email, it is creating a customer profile in Shopify AND within Klaviyo, however that profile isn’t being added to a list. I noticed that within my Shopify integration tab, the below “Collect Subscribers” checkbox is currently unchecked; but when I check it and select the list, it comes up with the error “We are unable to update your integration settings….”Is anyone able to advise on this please? Thanks :)
Hello! I set up a new form, connected it to the correct list, and placed it on my website. Within a few hours of that, Klaviyo put my account on hold. I saw I had a few form submissions since embedding it on my website. Once my account was reviewed and accepted, I could finally see the actual sign ups on that list. Surprisingly, it was just me on the list – when I had tested the form after my account was accepted. The number of sign ups still had a higher number. Since my account was under review for a short period time and I was driving people to my site, did I lose those sign ups?
Is there any way to add conditional logic to a form? I would like to have a contact form that displays different options based on the form selections. For example the first form field is for inquiry type and if product inquiry is selected I would like to display a few checkboxes for product options that the user is interested in inquiring about. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hi Everyone, For new site visitors, when they sign up for our newsletter within an embedded form, our email sign up pop up appears once they hit Submit. Is there a way to set behavioral rules between the two sign-up forms?Thank you!
Hello! We are having an issue where our embedded form is only showing up about 90% of the time on page load. In Klaviyo, we think we have the settings correct -- screenshotted below. And we have it to load the same on Desktop & Mobile. The error seems to happen randomly -- sometimes it will load after a refresh, sometimes it will load on mobile, sometimes it won’t. Sometimes it will load in an Incognito tab, sometimes it won’t. We’re at a loss and would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this? It’s a Shopify site, and this is the page we are having issues with: https://thebigfavorite.com/pages/join-our-inner-circleAny help is appreciated. Thank you!Deanna
I have created a dynamic Shopify coupon code and in the flow, the trigger whenever anyone signup up on email list pop up. In the pop-up, I have directed the SUBMIT button to add that person to the same email list, which I think should trigger the unique coupon code to be sent. But when I test it, I only receive the opt-in to the email list. After I opt-in, I ma not seeng the discount code email anywhere. Before I publish the pop-up and go live I want to make sure the discount code is delivered. What might I be missing?
Hey there,I just started using Klaviyo and I love it but I am running into one major problem. I think it is great that the integrated signup forms in Shopify sync with Klaviyo but it results in one issue for me: the Shopify system as well as the Klaviyo system send confirmation emails for the double opt-in. Problem is, I cannot disable double opt-in on Shopify because that would mean anyone can sign up (including bots) and I also cannot disable double opt-in on Klaviyo because double opt-in is required in my country.Does anyone know how to work around this issue?Any help is appreciated.Thank you,
Hi! Hoping someone here can lend me some help.Customers on my shopify store who subscribe to our Newsletter are being captured in two different places: in the Shopify customer's tab, and in Klaviyo. Customers who sign up on the website are being captured in Klaviyo, while customers who opt-into the newsletter during the checkout process are captured in Shopify. I would like all newsletter subscribers to ideally be captured on both platforms, but at least capturing these emails in Klaviyo is a must. Can anyone give me some guidance? Thank you so so much.
Hey Klaviyo community! I’m having some issues with colours bleeding through on my popup forms.. specifically the green around the “X” and “shop now”.. I have all the form background colours and button colours set to be the two tones of red / pink and green doesn’t show up anywhere in the settings for this particular form and they don’t seem to be the colours that would bleed through from the background page either.. so i’m a bit stumped what I’m doing wrong here… Preview in Klaviyo looks like this:
Hello,So we have a catalog request sign up form that when user submits triggers us to mail them a physical catalog. Is there a way to have the contents of the form submitted (users name and address) to be emailed to us when user submits the form ? I know we can set up a flow to do something after user is joined to a list after submitting form, but I do not see one of the options of the flow having an email sent to us with the contents of the form, or have parts of the users profile emailed to us (name, address) Thanks for any tips
Hello, I am having trouble figuring out how to segment a list from an A/B split test from a sign up form. Any advice would be appreciated. I created a split test for a $100 gift card giveaway and $500 gift card giveaway. Right now we are getting more opt in for the $100 giveaway however, I want to find out who opted in for the $500 and who opted in for the $100 and put those into 2 different categories. For some reason I can’t figure out who did what because the data only shows the name of the campaign and not which form they opted into A or B. Does anyone know how to figure this out? Thanks in advance, Gerald
Hi, I moved from aweber yesterday to Klaviyo. Move has been pretty easy, Im just putting the sign up forms on my site, I have found where I put the url for the redirect to a custom page in the list in klaviyo, but as Im testing my form it doesnt redirect? advise please? Thanks, Kate
Since cellphones and mobile devices have become more prominent in our daily lives, shopping online has become easier now more than ever, as it can be done on the go from virtually anywhere. However, optimizing for the mobile experience can be a tough issue to tackle, since browsers really only accommodate for one format - the portrait view. Having a vertical form can be difficult to click and type on, and it can also be hard to read. Here’s an example of what a landscape form looks like on both Desktop and Mobile: Klaviyo’s signup form editor allows you to design device specific forms under the Behaviors tab. In contrast, here’s a more mobile optimized version: FUN TIP: if you want to see how it looks on your device, publish the form on a URL handle that you know is not necessarily a handle someone would visit, such as /testFor further reading on optimizing your signup form experience, check out this detailed guide.Want more tips for signup form best practices?
