Hello, newbie here and I have created my first form and I’m in the process of testing it - so far so good.

My question is - is there a way to add additional element validation? For instance a postal / zip code validation, enforcing a minimum number of characters.

Thanks, Andy

Hi @andyn,

Thank you so much for sharing your question with us and welcome to Klaviyo!

Glad to hear your first form creation has started off on the right foot. Klaviyo does not have any type of minimum character validator in the sign-up form builder. However, depending on what you’re using the ZIP or postal code for, you may find it beneficial that Klaviyo tracks profile locations and this information can be used for location-based segments

For more information on the types of blocks available in the sign-up form builder, I recommend checking out our article on the sign-up form builder and for a more detailed breakdown on the capabilities of each block, I recommend our article on understanding sign-up form input blocks.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
