SMS - Your toll-free number application was rejected

I attended one of Klaviyo's training sessions to implement SMS. I requested authentication for our number but received the message that oour toll free number was rejected.After verification, it appears that our number is managed through a VOIP application (Canada), so it's not like a regular personal number. It's the company's number that reaches several individuals' cell phones.Is it still possible to run SMS campaigns? What do you recommend? We also don't want people to reply to this number (as it's our number for managing orders).I'm not sure if I'm being clear.I really want to try SMS campaign.

SMS Not Delivering

Hello, we recently set up our SMS campaign but no text messages have been delivered since starting it. So far it lists that 58 were “skipped”. Some of these we understand like no consent, failed trigger or invalid number but the majority of them say “Missing Number”.  We tried to test this out with a few employees of ours and we put our numbers in and initiated the flow but we did not receive the SMS message. We received the emails that we are expected to receive but for some reason we have not had a single SMS message deliver to anyone. Any idea what’s going on and what we can do? SMS "No Phone Number" Post Sign Up Form

I have a phone number and consent block on my sign up form, but when I get the numbers it says “No Phone Number” as the reason for a skip. But then when you look at every phone number profile, it has the number attached and consented on their profile. I’m not sure why it’s skipping and thinking it’s not a real number? Any ideas on why this is happening? It’s happening to every number I get through my sign-up pop up.

Sign up versus subscribers list

Hi,I have a shopify website and it is closed by a password. On that page I created a embed sign in form to collect phone numbers and ta goes to a list where every person that put their number on it will immidietly receive an SMS with a link in it to confirm their subscription.Secondly i want another sms to be sent to them when they complete the confirm subscription link. I need help configuring those 2 lists, dont know if i need to check double opt in or single… Please help me😄

Please stop deleting SMS conversations for merged accounts

Hi there, Can Klaviyo please stop deleting SMS conversations for profiles that were merged manually or automatically?I have reported this situation several times and every time I was told “it was going to be looked into” but, of course nothing happened. You have a customer that subscribes to a list via SMS, they send SMS then make an order on the website.After the order is made, Klaviyo automatically merges the profile (based on the phone number) then poof! Their SMS conversation magically disappears and you can’t get in touch via SMS (unless you create a campaign?! just for this individual).This is just one example.Profiles can be merged manually and automatically by Klaviyo and every time this happens, their SMS conversations disappear from the conversations page and the only way to check the history is to spend a lot of time analyzing tens of not hundreds of activities on their profiles. Troubleshooting SMS Consent via Shopify Checkout Page

Hi All, Can anyone assist me please? A customer makes a purchase and adds their email and SMS the the Checkout Page.They check the ‘Text me with news and offers’ check-box and completes their purchase. The customer’s details are added to Klaviyo, but they are NOT added as a SMS Subscriber, although their phone number is clearly visable.How or where do I troubleshoot this please?I’m really keen on resolving this ASAP as I’m wanting to focus on developing a strong SMS Marketing Strategy & Campaign. Thanks in advance!James

We just sent out an SMS message but are getting feedback from customers and employees that the message is getting put into the junk folder via Norton or if they click the link in the message that should go to our homepage they get a “suspicious website detected” AVG popup message and they can’t get to our site.Has anyone else expirenced this? If so, what can be done to avoid this again. This is our biggest sale day of the year and I needed to cancel the SMS sends so we don’t get dinged by Klaviyo for sending spam...which isn’t going to help with our sales numbers.Thanks for any help!

success page doesn't display if SMS opt in is skipped

So if a person adds their email the SMS option pops up. But if they say no thanks then the flyout just closes without going to the success step which tells them to check their emails.I can’t figure out how to make this work. Did i break something when I removed the SMS option then added it back?

Can you require Double Opt In for Email but not SMS?

For my main list of contacts I had “Double Opt In” enabled - I noticed that a contact did not confirm via email for double opt in, so he was never added to my main list or my “Person is consented to receive SMS” segment. I removed double opt in so now anyone that fills out my form and has phone included will be added both to my main list and SMS segment. Ideally I would like it so that I can just require double opt in for emails, and single opt in for sms. Is there any way to do this?

Abandon Cart Link in SMS Flow

I’m working on adding an SMS branch to our abandon cart flow and I am not seeing where to add the link to return them to their cart from the text…. will this auto populate? When I send a preview text to myself there is no link but not sure if that’s because I don’t have a cart to preview?

Klaviyo C/S would be a joke if it wasn't so serious.

Support in Klaviyo does not exist. We’re moving to Beehiiv.  I can’t even log into my own account…. and it’s premium. We’re trying to get support from their SMS team, so I can access as it seems a duplicate was set up. Complete joke. Andrew Bialecki should be spending more time looking at the online forums, and the consistent complaints about Klaviyo CS...

Sign-up form not connecting to SMS list

I have a Sign-Up Form connected to my SMS list "SMS Subscribers" but even when people fill out the form and click submit, no customers are flowing into either the "SMS Subscribers" list nor my “Consent to Receive SMS Marketing” segment.It shows these users have received the “Send this text to subscribe to recurring automated personalized marketing alerts (e.g. special promotions, cart reminders) from...” text, and both my keyword “JOIN” and SMS list are set to double-opt in. Is that “Send this text to subscribe to recurring automated personalized marketing alerts (e.g. special promotions, cart reminders) from...” text considered the double opt-in text? Do they have take action after they “send the text” to themselves when using the sign-up form?And if that is NOT the double opt-in text, what does that look like? "SMS Consent Timestamp" and "Age gated DOB" properties not showing

I recently imported my first SMS CSV from our recent migration to Klaviyo. My SMS CSV had Phone Number, Email, SMS Consent Timestamp and Age gated DOB as respective columns. It appeared to have connected correctly upon upload:Why am I not seeing neither the “SMS Consent Timestamp” nor the “Age Gated Date of Birth” contact property on any of the users I’ve just uploaded when I go into their profiles?

Are we allowed to collect SMS consent at checkout if we are an alcohol/ age gated brand? Can I sync my Shopify SMS subscribers to Klaviyo too, even though we're an alcohol/ age gated brand?
