Sending Old Customers to Reviews.io via Klaviyo – Is It Possible?

Is there actually a way to send customers to the Reviews.io collector page via Klaviyo retrospectively (after months)? The dynamic link only works within a flow and not in a campaign. However, the flow is limited by the trigger (Order fulfilled) to profiles with a purchase that is no older than one day.

Or do I HAVE to use the Reviews.io Booster for this? Can I build this in Klaviyo as well? If so, how?

I hope I’ve explained my issue clearly.

Best regards,
Viktor

Hello @Viktor Stykow, Thank you for reaching out.......!!!

To send past customers to the Reviews.io collector page via Klaviyo, you can create a one-time campaign with personalized review links instead of relying on flows, which are limited by real-time triggers like "Order Fulfilled." First, export past customer data from Klaviyo, including their email addresses. Next, generate unique review links for each customer using the Reviews.io format:

https://www.reviews.io/store/review?store=YourBrand&email=customer@email.com

Replace "customer@email.com" with each customer's actual email address. Once the review links are created, upload them back into Klaviyo as a custom property for each profile (e.g., review_link). Then, create an email campaign targeting these past customers, inserting their unique review links dynamically using Klaviyo’s personalization syntax:

Click [here]({{ person|lookup:'review_link' }}) to leave a review!

This approach allows you to request reviews from customers even months after their purchase. Alternatively, if you prefer an automated solution, Reviews.io Booster can handle this process, though it may require additional costs. Let me know if you need assistance with any step.

Hi,

You could back populate the flow with past profiles....it would allow you to include customers who have made purchases beyond the default 30-day window.
You can create a new flow specifically for older profiles, ensuring they are marked as verified buyers when leaving reviews

Hey @Viktor Stykow,

Did you manage to get this figured out? MANSIR2094’s answer above is a good one that would work! It might take some extra work, but would be a great way to send the review links in a campaign.

I followed this approach: I used a flow with "fullfield order" as the trigger, then added a time delay, and afterward, included the dynamic Reviews.io link for reviews. I initially set the delay to 20 days. Then, I added all past buyers to the flow. After that, I changed the time delay to 21 days and again added past buyers to the flow. I repeated this process until I reached 80 (which is when we started our business).

Through this method, all buyers were gradually scheduled for the following day. It was super complicated, but the result was successful.

To be honest, I’m not sure which of the two methods is more complicated. Unfortunately, the Reviews.io booster didn’t work for me and only showed an error message. The support team wasn’t able to help me either.

I think I didn’t fully understand the part about the link as a newbie. Is there an article or a video that could help me with this? @MANSIR2094

Thanks for your support.
