We own a retail store and we use the same Shopify account to manage our retail store and online store. Is there a way to automatically separate lists based on if they came via POS vs online? We could add the customer at checkout on POS and capture their information. We have a pop up on our site that captures emails as well.

Thank you

Hello @blakecandle,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to add customers to separate list based on which source they came from.

This can easily be done by adjusting which list your sign-up form points to. You can update this by:

  1. Click your form’s CTA button
  2. Click the dropdown next to the List to Submit section
  3. Choose your new list you want users to subscribe to

@shoshana.antunes highlighted these steps in her Community post below:

If you weren’t using a Klaviyo built sign-up form, but rather a Shopify provided one, I would recommend replacing it with a Klaviyo one. Alternatively, you could also update the code of the form to designate a specific $source property. This way, although users from both the form and POS are ending up on the same list, you can use segmentation to identify subscribers from this specified source.

I hope this helps!

David
