Creating a flow that will release by date

How do I create a flow for a pre launch and launch that will send emails by date like a campaign but also back send any emails?

I want everyone who signs up to get a specific ‘welcome to the waitlist email’ first. 
Then on certain dates they will receive more updates about the launch eg update 1 > update 2 > launch is tomorrow > launch is today. 
But I also want anyone who signs up for the launch after update 1 has been sent out to still receive it.

The most sustainable approach would be to create a pre-launch welcome flow connected to your waitlist email, which would send an automated email to every subscriber who signs up before launch, and send scheduled campaigns to your waitlist when your products launch.
