My alt text isn’t showing when I check it using the Gmail native app. Why? And what can I do to fix this? I typed the copy in -- I didn’t copy/paste -- and you can clearly see it when in template.

I have a few diagnostic questions to better understand what might be happening here!
- Is this happening on any other browser?
- Do you see this issue only on the mobile version of your gmail app or on desktop as well?
Additionally, when you added your alt text, did you ensure that you hit the ‘done’ version at the top left of your template before moving on?

I see the alt text when checking on my laptop using Chrome. And yes I hit ‘done’ before moving on.

Did you get to the bottom of this?
I just ran a test with a fresh build, dropping one image in and setting some alt text on the image.
I’m seeing the alt text appearing on both mobile and desktop Gmail.
