Unsurpressing profiles - do they come back into flows they did not finish?

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi there,

I’ve surpressed 2 profiles so they no longer receive emails from a flow.

I will unsurpress these profiles after a number of weeks so they skip a particular flow however, when I unsurpress them, do they go back into the flow that they did not complete OR because the time has lapsed on the email triggers, will they just get the new emails?

Ideally, I want them to skip the flow and just get the new emails - is this what will happen when I unsurpress the profiles?

Thanks

Sri

Hi @3011sri,

The short answer is no. Once a profile has left a flow, it will not be placed back into that flow at the same point it left. It will either start at the beginning of the flow (e.g., if they performed an action, they will restart a metric flow), or never enter that flow again (for most flows, a profile will only go through it once).

I recommend reading up on how Klaviyo’s flow triggers and filters work: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002779051. It’s essential!

Cheers,

Kevin.
