Captcha on sign up forms

Hi, 

 

Wondering if anything has done captcha on sign up forms?

Hi @chrisB,

Good question! I haven’t personally needed to put reCAPTCHA in a Klaviyo form before. Klaviyo doesn’t have a native integration available so it’s not overly seamless on the setup side. 

My recommendation typically is to use Double opt-in to avoid SPAM email addresses ending up as subscribers. This means all customers have confirmed that their email address is valid and minimises abuse as well as protect your sender reputation.

Hope that helps - perhaps someone else in the community has some experience implementing reCAPTCHA if that’s the pathway you’re looking to take!

Hey David, 

 

Yeah I kind of know the double opt in, but unfortunately its a non-starter for the client. 

 

I guess it would be useful to have reCAPTCHA given its sitting on most sites.
