Sending Subscriber via Zapier to a Sheet

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Helllooo Klaviyo People!

I have a small problem, which I can not solve. It’s actually quiet simple but it does not work.

I want to send subscriber for list A into Google Sheet Page A and subscriber from list B to Google Sheet Page B. The filter and the zap looks correct, but it simply does not work. We have a couple hundred entries per day, but the zaps do not fire.

Has anybody an idea?

Zap Trigger with Enter Event and the Event Metric is Subscribed to List
Filter should work by List name

Workaround solution:

Zapier Zap runs via Webhook inside the Flow and sends the email into the sheet and date is created by formula in sheets.

Can you check the Zap history? Is it being fired, but they’re all getting Stopped because they are filtered out? Or there is literally no history because it has never fired?

If it’s the latter, these are all really simple checks that you’ve probably already done, but they’re the only ones I can think that would affect a Zap not firing completely.

  • Zap turned on
  • Zap connected to the correct Klaviyo account
  • Zap connected to the correct Google account and correct sheet

If everything above is correct, can you post a screenshot of your Klaviyo trigger step? (Although, judging by your filter step, I’m guessing that’s ok too.)

And if this gets really out of hand, I just so happen to be a Zapier Partner too:

No history, never filled. Zap is turned on, all accounts are connected and the sheet is also correctly implemented, even if not, I would have a zap history with errors / stops. But the zap history is empty, it never runed, see screenshots.

As you go through the Zap setup process, it goes out and finds a contact in Klaviyo, that you then use for sample data throughout the rest of the zap.

As you get to the last step of connecting your Sheet, it should send that test data as the last confirmation step. Have you done that, and does that information get added to your sheet?

I think I found the error. We are getting our Subscribers via API with Add Members not Add Subscribers to List, and only the last can be a trigger in Zapier. I’m gonna try to build a webhook workaround..

Hmmmm, even if you’re adding members to the list via API, as long as those people are ‘added to the list,’ it should still trigger the zap. Because being ‘added to the list’ is an internal trigger for Klaviyo flows as well.

But, if you come up with a workaround, then I guess that’s all that matters.
