Bounces t-online.de

Hi there - we experience huge problems with bounces to all @t-online.de address (which is Germany’s biggest online provider, hence a big problem for as as Germany is our key market). Essentially all e-mails to @t-online.de bounce for several months already, and we now have several thousand suppressed profiles because of that.I contacted Klaviyo several times and they always say they will look into it (and trying one more time now), however the problem persists.Does anyone have any advice on how to best address this? Is this something Klaviyo needs to fix (i.e. is Klaviyo getting blocked), or is our domain the problem? Note we just started to set up our own domain in Klaviyo (have added DNS accordingly), but no results yet.Also does anyone know how I can un-suppress the profiles in bulk?Thanks for the help, any advice highly appreciated!

GA4 Source/medium discrepancy and UTM Param Set-up Confusion

Hi, I’d opened this topic on GA forum but hadn’t got any responses. First, I will share what I wrote on this topic. We have an issue with the data coming from Klaviyo. I will try to demonstrate with some screenshots. I can assure you that all the UTMs on Klaviyo correctly working. We have some campaigns have been sent as well as automated flows sending regularly. Though I am able to review campaigns on GA, I cannot see the orders/revenue coming from flows. Plus, it shows the source as "Unassigned". When the revenue comes from Flows it was showing the source as "Direct". However, I resolved this since the problem based on the url ending with "/" slash. Now, this one is fixed but we just got an order from the flow but it shows source/medium as Klaviyo / campaing. It needs to be klaviyo / flow. Also, the rest of the problems still going on.     And then I will explain what I go through currently.  I’ve just changed the default UTM’s by referring to these 2 topics. You can see the default

What are Klaviyo’s SPF and DKIM records?F.A.Q.

Klaviyo automatically applies the necessary SPF (sender policy framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)records when you have a dedicated sending domain set up for your account. When the CNAME records are added to your DNS, a subdomain is created and delegated over to Klaviyo to control and make use of. At this point, Klaviyo automatically adds the necessary SPF/DKIM records to set your account up to send emails using your own dedicated domain. On your end, you only need to add the prescribed CNAMEs; no records are required.For additional resources, you can learn How to Set up a Dedicated Sending Domain in this article.

How to add a NS recordy type in Shopify to set up a branded domain

Hi, I am not sure if I am missing something here but I am trying to set up my branded sending domain. My website is built in Shopify, Klaviyo recommends the dynamic routing option which then asks me to enter a TXT record (no problem) and 4 NS records. What is an NS record? There is no option to add this in Shopify. Thanks in advance for your help!

Placed order vs. Ordered Product Events: What's the difference?

If you have an ecommerce integration added to your Klaviyo account, you’ll see both Placed Order and Ordered Product events in your account. But what is the difference and why does Klaviyo include both?Placed OrderEvery order in your e-commerce store will generate one Placed Order event for the entire order. This event will include all line items, the value of the order, the categories or collections the products are from, item count, and other important information that pertains to the entire order. Growth reports by List/Segment

Clients in general like to know how many emails are on their list and how many have been added over given time. I am aware of Growth reports for each list, but also that they are not available for segments, and since there is no general report, it would be impossible for me to screenshot or walk them through each list’s growth report weekly. I am looking to give clients a birds-eye snapshot of weekly growth by key Lists or Segments, something that should be available in Analytics dashboard, but I just cannot find it. I need to show how many subscribers added / removed from the total of key segments / lists by week or month. I would be happy to use custom reports with my own graphing software, but there’s no “All Time” timeframe, so there’s no way to get an accurate total, and it’s my understanding that “Subscribed to List” does not include manual imports or quick adds.

Klaviyo and bigcommerce sending domain setuo

Is there any documentation on how to set this up correctly? There is no clear description from klaviyo on how to do this. I have followed the steps but thier is a lack of information. I am on the fence about leaving Klaviyo anyway. so if I can’t get the help I will just switch. I think its ridiculous that this is a requirement and there is no information on it.

Inflated click rates?

Is anyone else experiencing massively inflated click rates? We started noticing it from about 2 weeks ago to now, and it’s showing an over 200% increase to our monthly click rate averages. When looking at individual campaigns as well, they’re also looking to be incredibly higher. Does anyone know if this is just a Klaviyo issue being worked through or what else would be causing this?

Anyone elses open rates dropped overnight by 50%??

Morning Team - this week we’ve seen our open rates drop by 1/3 and then ½ against our averages. Presumably due to the IOS changes? Our CTR are also down. Is anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions for how to combat it?ThanksRob

Is there a way to see total revenue from a list?

Hi, I’m wondering if there’s a way for me to see the placed order value for a certain list for like the past month or 3 months, etc. Currently I only found Klaviyo article about the average 30 day order amount per order for each list, but not the total revenue.

Is there anything Klaviyo can to do help get me off of a couple of blacklists?

I have pretty good email deliverability but I recently did a test and found out that I’m on 2 blacklists out of the 25 listed.  Can Klaviyo help get me removed from those lists? I just didn’t know how to go about doing that.

SSL certificate for a Shopify store

Hi guys,  We’ve setup a dedicated click tracking with Klaviyo and need to set up the SSL too to avoid any insecure links etc. As explained here https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052205052-How-to-set-up-SSL-for-dedicated-click-tracking .  But we don’t use any of that like Cloudflare etc., we’re on Shopify Plus and I believe using their SSL for our domain. DNS records are managed directly at GoDaddy.  Can anybody please advise how we should set up this SSL?  Thanks!

Upcoming Google & Yahoo Deliverability Changes: Authentication & One-Click Unsubscribe

Hi all, Google and yahoo are going to make some deliverability changes. More info here https://blogs.oracle.com/marketingcloud/post/new-gmail-yahoo-deliverability-requirements One of these changes is that a one-click unsubscribe will be needed if you send more than 5000 emails to Gmail users per campaign. Does anyone know if this means that we will need a one-click unsubscribe on all transactional emails or only promotional emails? If transactional emails are affected, will this mean pure transactional emails like “password-reset” will need it as well? And will a one-click unsubscribe on the bottom of the email template suffice or is the “unsubscribe” link next to the subject line needed? Thanks

Using Secondary Email in the same account?

Hi all! So I’ve just learned about using a secondary email for marketing emails, which I have set up successfully. What I’m wondering is: can I use both our regular email (which I use for customers that have purchased to give them tips) and the secondary email (for marketing emails only, an email like hi@emails.domain.com) in the same Klaviyo account? Or would that hurt the sending reputation?

Significant drop in Open Rates

Hi,For some time now, we’ve had strong Open Rates for our broadcasts - in the early 70’s on average.  However since Feb/March, they have dropped significantly down to the late 50’s.   Digging a little deeper, I can see that Gmail seems to be the culprit as the Open Rate for these subscribers was around 70% in January but is now just 45% :(  I’m quite concerned by this as Gmail subscribers make up around 60% of our base. Does anyone know what could have caused this and how can I fix?

Question on "viewed product" "active on site" in the metrics

Hi,I am curious on how you guys define “active on site” and “viewed product”. Because in my cohort analysis, the number seem to be much lower consider the amount of traffic the site is getting.For example, if a user come to my site the first time and entered his email and continued browsing products, does klaviyo count that as 1 “viewed product” and 1 “active on site”? or does this user has to come to site again, and until then klaviyo will track that metrics?Can someone explain exactly how this works? THX

How long does it take to warm up a dedicated sending domain?F.A.Q.

The time it takes to warm up a dedicated sending domain varies for each sender. Depending your list size, it can take up to 30 days to fully warm your dedicated sending domain. When you first set up a dedicated sending domain, it is recommended that you just have the high engagement flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, and browse abandonment) running for a few days. Once you are ready to send your first campaign, make sure you send to a highly engaged segment and aim for 30% in open rates. Afterwards, the subsequent sends should strive for 20%+ open rates.  For additional resources on how to warm up your sending domain, you can check out the Guide to Warming Your Sending Infrastructure article.

Images not displaying in gmail

Hi all!When I send a test email to my Gmail email address, the images don't display.However, when I send a test email to my friend’s hotmail email address, there I can see the images.I don't know how to fix the problem, because if customers don't see the images, it's not great...If anyone has the solution please?Thanks in advance! Cannot track Started Checkout WooCommerce

Hi there,I just discovered Klaviyo, the possibilities to boost our e-commerce seem crazy!I've done the Woocommerce integration, all the events are correctly uploaded in Klaviyo EXCEPT the Started Checkout ones.This is clearly a problem for my abandoned shopping cart flow. 😢Do you have an idea why only this feed doesn't come up?Can you help me?

Resolving descrepancies between Klaviyo analytics and Google Analytics

Klaviyo is reporting that one of my campaigns has generated 16 orders resulting in $518.30 in revenue. The same campaign in Google Analytics is reporting 15 transactions resulting in $455.38 in revenue.Klaviyo is reporting 1 more order and $62.92 more than Analytics.My first thought was that a user didn’t get redirected to the thank you page or the user may have opted out of Google Analytics tracking them. I don’t think this is actually the case as I don’t have an order in Shopify totally $62.92.How have you reconciled analytics been Klaviyo and Google Analytics? Are you resigned to the fact that the two will never match? Is there a percentage of error that you’re willing to accept between the two? Any ideas how where the $62.92 discrepancy could be coming from?Thanks in advance!
