A/B test Smart Opt-inBecause the structure and functionality of the Smart Opt-in form is unique from other forms,  you’ll need to take an additional step to measure the impact of Smart Opt-in on your list growth. You can create an A/B test on a Smart Opt-in form to test it against a traditional SMS opt-in method, then create a segment for each variation and measure the segment growth per opt-in method.  Configure a new A/B testTo do so, you’ll first need to create a new A/B test, and assign each form variation a new hidden profile property: Open the form editor for your Smart Opt-in form. Onsite Opt-in for SMS pop up form

Hello,I am currently just looking to start SMS marketing, I have a number that I’m looking to port into Klaviyo that I haven’t done so and am still on the fence as to which company to go with. I came across this recent news of Postscripts new feature and I thought was really timely in my situation.  Postscript just released their Onsite Opt-in feature for sms pop up forms, where instead of leaving the website and going to the messaging app just to reply “Y” or “Yes”, a 4 digit verification code is sent to the visitor and they can just tap on the digits from their keypad to autofill the field on the pop up. Example:  The means that the new subscriber does not need to leave the website at all (better for sign up rates, better conversions, improves analytics tracking, etc.)  The increase in SMS sign up rate for True Classic more than tripled just from implementing this.Attached below is the screenshot of the SMS opt in rate for Jones Road after the Onsite Opt-in implementation. Jones Road

Connection is not private

The links in my SMS campaign are not always working.  I cannot open th elink when on my wifi, but if I turn wifi off and use cell on my phone, or connect my laptop to the hotspot the links open.  Support said it’s my ISP. What am I supposed to do here?  I can’t tell my customers to turn off wifi to open the links. 🤣 There has to be something that can be done to fix this, or do I just turn off the click tracking?

SMS subscription link - How to see new subscribers

Hi there, I am really excited to start using the “growth tool” of adding subscription links for SMS to my Instagram Stories, however, I’ve realized that there’s nowhere to see who subscribed through that link in the growth tool itself. Is there a simple way to see how many have subscribed from this dedicated link, or a way to pull them into a segment?  Thanks!

I’m sending an SMS campaign set for 10 am recipient’s local time zone. Why is it I’m getting this message when everyone on my SMS list has a +1 (U.S. only) phone number and the time is within the 9am to 8pm window?

Is there a way to see which SMS was sent and to which recipients? This refers to the standard notification that is sent while subscribing to the list with the double opt-in.

Can a profile be automatically removed from the 'SMS subscribers' list after sending a standard keyword?

There is a list of standard keywords https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035285472#01H8PSCKC0XVP9F1S1SSVD4JMNSTART, UNSTOP: …  Note: You must have a list titled "SMS Subscribers" for the keywords to work.  Сan the use of any of these keywords remove a user from this list?Or the user always remains in the "SMS Subscribers" list but only his general SMS consent status changes? Thank you!

SMS - Your toll-free number application was rejected

I attended one of Klaviyo's training sessions to implement SMS. I requested authentication for our number but received the message that oour toll free number was rejected.After verification, it appears that our number is managed through a VOIP application (Canada), so it's not like a regular personal number. It's the company's number that reaches several individuals' cell phones.Is it still possible to run SMS campaigns? What do you recommend? We also don't want people to reply to this number (as it's our number for managing orders).I'm not sure if I'm being clear.I really want to try SMS campaign.

SMS Not Delivering

Hello, we recently set up our SMS campaign but no text messages have been delivered since starting it. So far it lists that 58 were “skipped”. Some of these we understand like no consent, failed trigger or invalid number but the majority of them say “Missing Number”.  We tried to test this out with a few employees of ours and we put our numbers in and initiated the flow but we did not receive the SMS message. We received the emails that we are expected to receive but for some reason we have not had a single SMS message deliver to anyone. Any idea what’s going on and what we can do? SMS "No Phone Number" Post Sign Up Form

I have a phone number and consent block on my sign up form, but when I get the numbers it says “No Phone Number” as the reason for a skip. But then when you look at every phone number profile, it has the number attached and consented on their profile. I’m not sure why it’s skipping and thinking it’s not a real number? Any ideas on why this is happening? It’s happening to every number I get through my sign-up pop up.

Sign up versus subscribers list

Hi,I have a shopify website and it is closed by a password. On that page I created a embed sign in form to collect phone numbers and ta goes to a list where every person that put their number on it will immidietly receive an SMS with a link in it to confirm their subscription.Secondly i want another sms to be sent to them when they complete the confirm subscription link. I need help configuring those 2 lists, dont know if i need to check double opt in or single… Please help me😄

Please stop deleting SMS conversations for merged accounts

Hi there, Can Klaviyo please stop deleting SMS conversations for profiles that were merged manually or automatically?I have reported this situation several times and every time I was told “it was going to be looked into” but, of course nothing happened. You have a customer that subscribes to a list via SMS, they send SMS then make an order on the website.After the order is made, Klaviyo automatically merges the profile (based on the phone number) then poof! Their SMS conversation magically disappears and you can’t get in touch via SMS (unless you create a campaign?! just for this individual).This is just one example.Profiles can be merged manually and automatically by Klaviyo and every time this happens, their SMS conversations disappear from the conversations page and the only way to check the history is to spend a lot of time analyzing tens of not hundreds of activities on their profiles. Troubleshooting SMS Consent via Shopify Checkout Page

Hi All, Can anyone assist me please? A customer makes a purchase and adds their email and SMS the the Checkout Page.They check the ‘Text me with news and offers’ check-box and completes their purchase. The customer’s details are added to Klaviyo, but they are NOT added as a SMS Subscriber, although their phone number is clearly visable.How or where do I troubleshoot this please?I’m really keen on resolving this ASAP as I’m wanting to focus on developing a strong SMS Marketing Strategy & Campaign. Thanks in advance!James

We just sent out an SMS message but are getting feedback from customers and employees that the message is getting put into the junk folder via Norton or if they click the link in the message that should go to our homepage they get a “suspicious website detected” AVG popup message and they can’t get to our site.Has anyone else expirenced this? If so, what can be done to avoid this again. This is our biggest sale day of the year and I needed to cancel the SMS sends so we don’t get dinged by Klaviyo for sending spam...which isn’t going to help with our sales numbers.Thanks for any help!

I have transferred all of my profiles over from Shopify. I have created a campaign. But when I go to send the campaign out it says, “0  estimated recipients.” And won’t let me send the campaign. SOS.
