Do you need Refunded Product metric to match Refunded Order metric?

Hello,

There’s a metric called “Placed Order” when some one buys something and there’s a metric called “Refunded Order” when some one returns something.

When someone makes an order we also send “Ordered Product” for each product they ordered. Is it necessary to also send an equivalent metric for returned products? (aka “Returned Product”)

    Hey @jjensen_ksp

Thanks for asking another great question!

It will really depend on how detailed you want to be with your data and if your business needs to track when and what product is being returned. I know most brands use the “refunded order” metric to keep track of returns, but you may want or need additional data based on your unique business.

Good Morning @stephen.trumble, everything feels very flexible with Klaviyo. It’s hard to know when to adhere to things specific to the Klaviyo platform. Your help is appreciated. Thank You.
