How to stop bots from email subscription and how to delete them?

Question

Hello, I already have over 54,000 fake email subscribers and would like to know how to get rid of them so that no one registers as a fake. And do I have to delete all 53,000 of them individually or what can I do?

Hey @RebekkaJust to add on to what @DavidVsaid,If you see a pattern of emails that you know are fake emails, like they are starting with certain letters or numbers of if they all have a particular domain, then you can just create a segment with following definitionand then you can just suppress this segment.I hope this helps and thank you for being part of this communityCheersArpit Banjara

Hi @Rebekka,Oh no - that’s definitely a lot of accounts!The key steps that need to be taken here:Remove all of these fake profiles - if you place all of these accounts into a list you can remove them. Normally I recommend suppression but seeing as these are fake profiles I would actually delete them from your account. This page includes details on how to do this.Turn on double opt-in on your list - this means customers have to approve their sign-up.
